Your favorite reading subject?

I personally like reading about the psychological profiles of criminals. Especially murderers.

The Columbine shooting is of particular interest to me, but I don't read too many books on the subject, as it rehashes a lot of stuff I already know. And a lot of times they get it wrong, too!

That sounds interesting. I have pretty eclectic interests in non-fiction. I read just about anything! And as far as fiction goes, I love the classics.

I'm pretty much the same way - I just finished a book about Ted Bundy and another about Thomas Luther. I'm now reading about Julie and Ed Post. The trials themselves are very interesting to me.

Mysteries, Sci-Fi and Fantasy, mostly. I also enjoy reading non-fiction about disease outbreaks, which sounds weird, but I am a microbiologist with a public health department, and this subject fascinates me!

Sci-fi, mystery and sci-fi is most of what I read. A book has to really keep me on my toes... I'm a Star Wars freak.

I'm into psychological thrillers and also the non-fiction profiling as Psycmajor is. Pretty much my taste is ecclectic, except I'm not into romance books. For Christian reading, apart from the Bible of course, I like reading autobiographies of a person's struggle and also end time prophesy related.

for me, i like to read fantasy mainly, biographies and autobio if i could get my hands on any, and some interesting subjects on Christianity such as "The Jesus i never knew" by Philip Yancey. Used to read some classics as well.
i read sci-fic, but only Star Wars.

I love murder mysteries, especially Brother Cadfael, (Ellis Peters), Father Brown stories, (GK Chesterton), Agatha Christie, and the Sister Joan series. I can't handle that true crime stuff though.

I love Kathleen Norris, Frederica Mathewes-Green, and numerous childhood classics that I get to enjoy now through my children.

Me too. I also like Christian fiction from Randy Alcorn and Frank Peretti!

The only writer from my "before Christian" life I can read are Dick Francis.

I like reading about horses - I really like learning about lamenesses and respiratory problems. But most anthing about the mechanics of how horses work fascinates me. I like Macdonald and Tolkien and CS Lewis and a few fiction authors though, too. If pressed for something to read, I'll happily put my nose into anything but romance.

Aww, why is everyone so against romance?

I don't read those ones, you know, from the big romance section at Barnes & Noble...but I do read Christian romance books.

I mostly like contemporary fiction, nothing too scary. I like authors like Brandilyn Collins, Shaunti Feldhahn, Kristen Heitzmann (though I haven't read any of her historical fiction), and Karen Kingsbury.

I'm a Science Fiction guy, with some fantasy and horror, but SF is my first love.... Or something like that. SF with fantasy influence... Greatest thing on Earth.

For non-fiction... Whatever intrigues me, I guess. The last non-fiction books I read (In whole or in part) "The Art of war," "Everyday life in Tokugawa Japan," "The Four Loves," and "Mere Christianity."
