Favourite weather - 70F, light breeze, slightly cloudy so the sun isn't always out - I do live in Florida, too much sun.

Least favourite weather - temps right around freezing with snow on the ground. Warms up enough during the day to turn the snow to slush and gets just cold enough at night to freeze all the wet stuff. Oh the nightmares!!

Favorite(s):
1) Cool, clear October morning after the summer heat has finally broken and the temperature is in the 50s;
2) Cold, damp, with fog which has come in from the Gulf and temperature holding just above freezing - I love to dry my clothes in the dryer at that time because the dryer exhaust creates a tremendous billowing cloud. It also means we can use the oven and the stove and cook our favorite hot dishes (something one simply does not do here during the summer!).
3) Any day in the winter when it snows -- which is maybe a couple of flurries in a normal winter, an accumulating snow every five years or so, and a really BIG snow every quarter century or so.

Least favorite(s):
The entire months of June, July, August and September. You people up north get cabin fever in the winter because it's just too cold to go outside. We get cabin fever in the summer because it's just too hot to go outside. It's hard to say anything nice about a brilliantly sunny day in July when it's 103 degrees outside; and even if a tropical system moves in, it cools the temperatures down into the low 90s and the weather becomes terribly, terribly humid!

Favourite - 22 celcius, light breeze, late may/early June, not too hot but perfect weather for a picnic. Reminds me of the fun times after exams. Also, I like when it snows, especially late in the spring.

Worst - drizzle, "scotch mist", which is clammy and horrible. It also brings out the annoying biting insects. This kind of weather always seem to be here when I go camping.

Favourite Weather Conditions:
Fine and sunny. The sun makes me happy. Just some wind around - speed of about 20 knots or 25 knots.Temperatures around 10 C (52 F) or so - not too cold and not too hot.
Maybe a bit of cloud around wouldn't bother me or a cloudy day would not bother me either.

Least Favourite Conditions:
Rainy, dampy, thundery. Those conditions make me sad. Sticky weather is bad. Humid - not too good. Temperatures that are over 25 C (82 F) would bother me quite a bit.

My Favorite Weather Conditions:

(1) I like the weather to be about 75 degrees with strong thunderstorms.
(2) In the seventies and sunny with a slight breeze.

My Least Favorite Weather Conditions:

When the sun is shining, not a cloud in the sky, and it is freezing! I hate that.

Favorite: summer/spring mid 70's sunny, breezy, big white fluffy clouds; afternoon or evening thunderstorm, the kind where you can sit on the porch and watch the rain race across a corn field and watch lightening dance in the sky; autumn, breezy light rain while driving down a country road as leaves blow across in front of your car.

Least Favorite: winter, cold, snow on the ground after many days dirty looking.

Hail the size of golfballs is my least favorite weather condition. A cool day with light sprinkles is one of my favorites, but lately we've had so much rain, I would have to say a 72º sunny day until I'm over all this. :|

My favorite is actuallly a toss up:

I love to watch violent thunderstorms roll in. I like to watch them boil up in the distance and change size/shape as they get closer. I especially like it when the bases have mammatus formations underneath, they are so unusual. And the lightning and thunder, can't beat that.

BUT - I also like it when I'm on a hike in the mountiains and clouds are rolling by. I love to see them up close and personal and watch them take shape and change as they go around peaks and ridges. That's my favorite hiking weather actually, when there are clouds on the trail. Not completely fogged in mind you, or else the view would be pathetic, but just some broken clouds makes for a beautiful hike.

As far as what I hate in weather, that's cold and dry. I hate those days in February when it is dry and the snow looks dirty, everything is dead, and it's too cold to even want to set foot outside.

My favorite conditions are much the same as the poster above: thunderstorms, especially severe, just as they're beginning to form. I live on the Gulf Coast so between the spring t'storms and hurricane season we get plenty of fun. This evening, I got caught in a mess on the drive home from work -- straight-line winds and plenty of lightning resulted in very few traffic lights left whole! It was beautiful, though, on the other side of it: almost an eerie stillness and the deepest blue-grey you've ever seen around these parts at that time of day.

Oh yeah, least favorite: sunshine. Meh. We also get plenty of that, but I'm not a fan. Ya seen one sunny day, ya seen them all. The variety's all in the severe wx!
