The speedloaders are for two legged animals, not for hunting. But, since my revolver is a .357mag, with a 6" barrel, legally I can hunt with that. I can drop the spent casings from my pistol and reload it as fast as someone with a semi-automatic pistol. And I keep a 7.62mm rifle in my truck, along with extra magazines and a few boxes of ammunition. The rifle is for hunting.

Powerbars come in different flavors. Some are chocolate, fruit, mixed nuts, etc. Most taste like cardboard, but will keep you going during an emergency.

I test everything I buy. Yes, lifestraws work. Ive drank from a mud puddle and there was nothing wrong with the water I swallowed.

My 3 days of food rations are MRE's. Meals Ready to Eat. You just add water to the food, which is freeze dried. I don't need a fire because they came with heaters. You just add water to the heater and an exo-thermic reaction heats the food.

I think I should also explain the IFAK a bit better. It is a first aid kit, but with more advanced lifesaving equipment. Cardiac needles, suture kit, tourniquets, compression dressings, Quickclot, etc.

Since you mentioned tires, you make want to pick up some of these.

And on the off chance you have tubes in your tires.

Slime is a tire sealant. A polymer with bits of rubber in it. Slime is the brand name. It does feel rather slimy though.

Why would they rob you?
I think in an emergency, youd be busy helping people cos its a matter of life or death, if someone needed food youd just give it to them, cos you are a christian and give to everyone who asks.

Our plan is for all the family to "bug out to a location." We will all load up our cars with babies, grandmas, whoever else needs to come, and preps and land out our "compound" in the country. We are in the process of trying to get that location ready to support multiple families.

The guns are for people sometimes referred to as "marauders." There are people who saw fit not to prep, and may even have decided that their method of survival is to come to you, kill you, rape your wife and daughters, and then make off with your preps. Sorry so graphic. But this is not a nice world, especially when people become desperate. The "moral core" of our nation has eroded away to the point where half the nation is ready to loot and pillage for any reason at all. Yes, we are prepping to such a degree that when hungry people come to our door we will have something to give them. The guns are not for them... the corn and sugar is for them.

Ive seen how vile people can be, even when there isn't a crisis. The guns are for the "evil" people who enjoy hurting others and stealing.

Make up extra fishing lines (with hooks for others) and a provision of grubs and a sillcock key (for water) and there is fish and water right there.

i just recall when people were stealing food from our church they were hungry so my friends had the idea to hold a community meal every friday so they didn't need to steal.

Although one time a 'mauauder' smashed my friends car for no reason, maybe for money. But we didn't catch who did it. Just reported to the police. if the police doing their job us ordinary citizens don't need to carry weapons.
