Your Calling

[Quiet Storm]

I don't even know. I've gone through almost year of some of the most grevious torment, that I wouldn't' wish on my worst enemy, searching for my calling. Afterwards, I finally just gave up and said "your will be done". I really want it to be in music and/or counseling, but who knows?

The LORD Jesus is calling me to be a Christian author like Max Lucado. I'll write many small books that impact and change one's walk with Christ.

Turns out I was wrong about my calling. When I finally turned the whole thing over to God to let things happen as they would have them happen, I am called to be a servant, not a writer, although it is still with the rural poor. I was half right, huh?

I serve as a Deacon now so I believe my primary calling to be service.

However, God has also placed opportunities for me to teach. It's difficult but I enjoy it.

Grace Alone..

I was told once (quite a few years ago when I worked with my first Sunday School classes)..that "Sunday school teachers go where angels fear to tread."

I had several classes that proved, God's angels were working overtime (not with the little ones..later the bigger ones)..with me.

Simply put: Matt. 28:18-20

I believe that if churches across the globe would teach on this exhaustively, it would revolutionize the church and life of every Christian as we know it

I have recently been thinking of being a volunteer worker for the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, INC. part-time and my main job will be working in botany.

For me, it's to be a priest. This is something I have felt God pulling me to for quite some time. Each time I push it aside, the passion for it becomes that much more intense. I have taught Sunday School for 5 years, I am in my last year of EFM (Education For Ministry), which is a 4 year course. Can you believe that I downloaded the Canons and Constitutions of my church and downloaded the GOEs from the last several years (I think there is 10 years I downloaded) to study them? GOE is General Ordination Exam. There is just this burning desire within me, and I know it is God who is calling me to do this.
