How would expediting removal court processes put more people into the country. The courts determine who should be there by law. And how do you think adding border patrol officers to the border would let more people sneak in?Joe wants money to PROCESS more migrants into the country,
How long between paper pushing and their case being decided? Where would those people be in the meantime? Do please tell us of our gullibility.?How would expediting removal court processes put more people into the country. The courts determine who should be there by law. And how do you think adding border patrol officers to the border would let more people sneak in?
Don't be so gullible.
He was demoted by the Navy after leaving the WH for drinking on the job, abusing subordinates, and other violations. The first that comes to mind is if they use the White House office doctor, they might need to keep some kind of records. You know like who is being prescribed to? How much has been prescribed and on what days? Do you have a primary doctor? Pay for it and get the write-off, then anything that happens is Dr/patient privilege. He could even make the medical team or doctor sign a non-disclosure agreement so all of the records are kept private.
Strictly legal? I don't know. I know a doctor has some liberty to hand out samples with no prescription. Otherwise, doctors need to keep a record of every script they wrote and how much was prescribed. There may be a liability there.
Emphasis: Not a lawyer.
Too long. Biden's request for more resources to get the ineligible people processed and deported was killed at Trump's orders, because it was just about the last campaign issue he has. So the republicans refused to reinforce the overworked Border Patrol and assured that the removal process would continue to take longer and longer. How long between paper pushing and their case being decided?
How long between paper pushing, and deportation. And where would these people be between those two events? You are not the gullible one so please do tell us.Too long. So the republicans refused to reinforce the overworked Border Patrol and assured that the removal process would continue to take longer and longer.
Because Trump's political needs outweigh the good of the country as far as the House republicans are concerned.
He worked for Obama as well. What his alcoholism only appeared under Trump. Uh huh.He was demoted by the Navy after leaving the WH for drinking on the job, abusing subordinates, and other violations.
The Navy demoted Rep. Ronny Jackson in 2022 after a scathing report from the Defense Department watchdog found the former White House physician drank on the job, routinely screamed at subordinates and acted inappropriately.
Jackson, who retired in 2019 as a one-star rear admiral, was demoted to the rank of captain, according to two US officials.
Jackson, who served as the top White House physician under President Barack Obama and President Donald Trump, still refers to himself as a retired rear admiral, the rank at which he retired on December 1, 2019. Now a Republican member of Congress, Jackson says on his website that he is a “retired U.S. Navy Rear Admiral with nearly three decades of military service.”
Apparently, fit right in with the drug culture in the Trump WH.
A lot of people made jokes about the Trump WH; "are they on drugs?" The answer seems to be "mostly, yes."
"Conversely, the White House Medical Unit’s pharmaceutical services included the full scope of pharmacy operations, including storage and inventory, prescribing and dispensing, procurement, and disposal, and was not credentialed by any outside agency. We concluded that all phases of the White House Medical Unit’s pharmacy operations had severe and systemic problems due to the unit’s reliance on ineffective internal controls to ensure compliance with pharmacy safety standards. In addition, the Military Health System senior leaders did not oversee the White House Medical Unit’s pharmacy operations. Without oversight from qualified pharmacy staff, the White House Medical Unit’s pharmaceutical management practices may have been subject to prescribing errors and inadequate medication management, increasing the risk to the health and safety of patients treated within the unit. Additionally, the White House Medical Unit’s pharmaceutical management practices ineffectively used DoD funds by obtaining brand‑name medications instead of generic equivalents and increased the risk for the diversion of controlled substances.1
We found that the White House Medical Unit provided a wide range of health care and pharmaceutical services to ineligible White House staff in violation of Federal law and regulation and DoD policy. Additionally, the White House Medical Unit dispensed prescription medications, including controlled substances, to ineligible White House staff. In analyzing the testimonies of former White House Military Office employees, we found
that White House Medical Unit senior leaders directed eligibility practices that did not comply with DoD guidance."
H.R. 2 has specific requirements for the use of money and resources, finishing the wall, money to law enforcement. We know what Joe Biden and his administration have done and continues to do, policies that encourage human trafficking and crime. He could rescind the disastrous orders he made in his first one hundred days but has no intention of doing so.How would expediting removal court processes put more people into the country. The courts determine who should be there by law. And how do you think adding border patrol officers to the border would let more people sneak in?
Don't be so gullible.
(Blames the Corps of Engineers)I'll take a stab at it and guess you mean this...
Would have been, if he had been selecting the contractors. But as you know, Trump picked big donors to do the work. And they did a miserable job. That might explain why guys like Milley were so quick to blame Trump to cover their own failures. As the highest ranking member of the Army, he's responsible for screwing it up.
For some reason, they did it when there weren't Border Patrol people around. Go figure. Biden asked for more Border Patrol agents to deal with that among other things, but Trump demanded that the House republicans make sure it didn't happen. For reasons we all understand.Did those people cutting through the wall and entering illegallu get arrested or not?
I don't recall Trump saying that the wall would be an impenetrable barrier
Yep. Told you so.Wow...a quarter of a billion dollars. That's a lot, don't you agree?
Don't remember him advocating for a wall. He likely knew it wouldn't work, like most people here.He pressured them did he? What sort of wall did Milley prefer?
For good reason. The walls on the border by San Diego were repeatedly breached by tunnels because of a lack of visibility from the U.S. They are removing them for that reason. As I understand it, the Army Corps preferred the wall made of individual posts to allow a degree of visibility into Mexico....which is what was ultimately chosen. Trump wanted a high and imposing wall that prevented visibility on both sides.
That was a side hustle for Trump's people:Regardless, easily 10-15 times the amount that was....less than perfectly spent under Trump regarding the wall fiasco....was lost to outright fraud
..less than perfectly spent under Trump regarding the wall fiasco....was lost to outright fraud in just covid relief funds
So does Biden. But he's actually doing something about it.I'll agree government waste is bad.
We don't know when he got his drinking problem. Usually, these things start slowly until they get out of hand. The "Dr. Feelgood" culture in the Trump WH no doubt contributed to Jackson getting caught. If you're dirty, it's not smart to hang out with dirty people. He worked for Obama as well. What his alcoholism only appeared under Trump. Uh huh.
Your denial seems pretty pointless in light of Biden's attempt to get more resources to border enforcement, and the republican moves to prevent that from happening. C'mon.H.R. 2 has specific requirements for the use of money and resources, finishing the wall, money to law enforcement. We know what Joe Biden and his administration have done and continues to do, policies that encourage human trafficking and crime.
Was he dr feel good for Obana too? No drinking problem under Obama, just under Trump, but not now. HMMM. must have quietly went through rehab fir this terrible state he suddenly found himself in only under Trump. I see.We don't know when he got his drinking problem. No data on that. His drinking problems might have begun that early, although 8-10 years is a long time to go undetected. As I said, the drug culture in the Trump WH probably contributed to Jackson (now a republican congressman) getting caught and demoted by the Navy. And no, there's no evidence to show that Trump was aware that so many of his people were walking around drugged with illegally-obtained meds. If he wasn't alert enough to know when people were stealing orders off his desk, he likely wasn't aware enough to know about all the illegal drug use.Was he dr feel good for Obana too?
We don't know that. Some alcoholics are pretty good at hiding it. He just got so bad by the Trump years that it couldn't be ignored any more. And as I said, the widespread abuse of prescription meds by Trump's people probably had something to do with him getting caught. No drinking problem under Obama, just under Trump, but not now.

See above. The border patrol makes jokes about the number of holes in the "impenetrable wall."
Given that Biden was negotiating with McCarthy by himself
Joe Biden Was Underestimated Once Again on the Debt Ceiling Deal
The president appears to have bested the GOP with a bill that could very soon save the economy—and his reelection chances
“Republicans got outsmarted by a President who can’t find his pants,” Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) tweeted on Tuesday, making clear she opposed the compromise legislation that came out of Biden and McCarthy’s negotiations.

Republicans can't seem to decide whether Biden is a senile old guy
Stopping an unconstitutional move by the president. Presidents can't unilaterally abrogate treaties ratified by Congress.
Oh, of course you were...
Not at all, not in any way. Don't they train you guys before you go to work? C'mon. Read up on "separation of powers."
If I was precise in what Tillerson actually said to describe Trump, I'd be banned here.
As you seem to realize, the far right has spread their hatred to some universities.
Uncensored America (UA), a student organization sanctioned at three university campuses,
plans to host Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes
at Penn State University and far-right social media performer John Doyle
While UA claims to be a “non-partisan” group,
it has previously hosted other right-wing extremist speakers including Milo Yiannopoulos,
and its founder is linked through another far-right campus group to a white nationalist publisher that sells pro-Nazi literature.

And it's not just pro-Trump groups now:
The rise in Jew-hatred in the U.S. is not limited to white supremacists. It said that “the antisemitism of the far-right and far-left are pushing into the mainstream of American culture and politics from both sides.”
Antisemitic incidents on rise across the U.S., report finds
Researchers say that antisemitism rose in the U.S. in 2022 and shows little sign of abating worldwide as political radicals have gained mainstream popularity.www.pbs.org
Some Islamic fundamentalist groups have made common cause with white supremacists.
Because his intelligence people have told him that openly supporting Trump is a bad idea. Mueller found that Putin's tactic was covertly supporting Trump.
Or maybe Putin is doing one thing and saying another.
You wouldn't be the first to ignore a conscience for whatever the payoff is for doing so. Here's a hint: denial doesn't work so well, if your behavior doesn't fit the denial.
No data on that.

I remember. I was there.Biden supported the Civil Rights Act, but correctly predicted that forced busing would backfire and cause more racial strife. And events proved him to be correct.
How the left’s embrace of busing hurt the cause of integration.
Don't they teach American history where you live? It's not a secret, it's part of the historical record.
The first buses rolled through Boston in September 1974—and racial violence engulfed the city. White mobs hurled bricks at school buses with terrified black children inside. Then, on October 7, a Haitian immigrant was beaten savagely by a white mob in South Boston. In the coming months, the list of casualties would grow. The city became a cauldron of racial hatred.
For example the IG report that detailed the massive illegal drug use in the Trump WH. I linked to it.Has any data been provided on anything?
The details are in the IG report. I provided a source already. What drug culture?
In a visitor's area where any person visiting the WH could have placed it where it was sure to be found. They've found coke lying around the WH under Biden
He might have gotten some help. Or maybe being out of the WH lowered the pressure enough. The OP, after all.but not now hmmm
Yep. He had it exactly right. It didn't help; it made things worse, as Biden predicted.I remember. I was there.
Where I grew up, in a part of Boston called Hyde Park, the black sections and the white sections of the projects were separate, but we lived on one of the border streets. White families on one side of the street, black families on the other. We got along fine. I had black friends, and there were very few problems, overall.
Then busing came along. When people are forced to do something, even something they would have no problem doing on their own, they can get upset. And there were, and still are, enough bigots in Boston to exacerbate the racial tensions. When busing was first being discussed, we all knew what was going to happen, and sure enough, it went exactly as everyone knew it would.
If Biden, back in the day, predicted that forced busing would backfire and cause more racial strife, he was absolutely correct. And he wasn't alone in thinking that.
Not surprising. It turned out to be very penetrable, a complete failure. Over 3,000 breaches even in the small percentage of the wall that actually got erected. It's a joke.Oh I've no doubt that some do.
Of course you do...I know a guy in the agency proper and a guy in their tactical unit.
There is that...I'm not interested in some crackpot conspiracy theory you cooked up. That CIA report was based off of intercepted communications between Putin and his allies. It's not some random guess-work.
