lol Woody! The bitumen melts here in summer! There is no possible way anyone could walk on it in bare feet.
When your eyes sting from the salt in them.

Um...can we change that to "There is no possible way anyone sane could walk on it in bare feet."?
To cut a long story (and a long walk ) short, this time last year I went rollerblading with friends along a bike path. Out feet hurt so, stupidly, we took the blades off.

We were walking for about half an hour (bare foot) in about 40 degrees (I think the ground was hotter).

I didn't walk for 2 weeks afterwards because of the giant blisters (literally 10cm x 5cm - lots of them) on my feet.

So please learn from my mistakes - it doesn't matter how hot it is - wear shoes!

Mind you, I look back on the stupidity of it now and just laugh.

Oh, and you know it's summer when you feel it's even too hot to swim. (strange logic that).
