you know its summer when your in QLD and you get the best lightning shows.. right now there is a lightning storm and i speak no word of a lie there is literally 2 to 3 strikes every second! it looks amazing!

I think New Years Day summed it up perfectly...mine was just plain hot - thankfully I spent 4 hours of it in air conditioned trains... Plus there were other dramas, which I shall reserve for discussion later...

new years day was abnormally hot - at least where I was... for summer.. its the gottest day i've ever lived through... by about 5 degrees...

besides going swimming in the ocean which was icy for ten minutes every ten minutes before it got too hot to stand out in the sun like that... i ended up wetting my towel and lying under it to try and cool down.

the storm i mentioned before had over 17,000 recorded strikes of lightning!!!! and at stanthorpe they had HUGE hail like the size of the apples out there!crazy weather
