Is there really a denomination that has put out a bible that has changed the WORD from "WAX OLD" to obsolete?

I keep hearing the sabbath was given to the house of Israel, therefore the gentiles need not keep it. Who was the covenant of Hebrews 8 given to?

For all shall know me. You must live in a real nice town should you believe that everyone from the least to the greatest know the Lord.

Hebrews was written after the crucified Christ. Does this scripture say the 1st is now done away with? No...it says its a gettin old (like me) and is getting ready to vanish.

Right where scripture takes us.. A new covenant. Not of the old but brand new. He is making this new covenant with the house of Isreal and Judah and also with the gentiles. All brand new through the Law giver and not the law. We are not the household of Isreal though. We are the body of Christ to which the Household of Isreal and Judah must come into in order to be the chosen People of God. For now instead of being the household of Isreal and Judah it is the Body of Christ.

Excellent point, but what about after you come to Christ as your Lord and Saviour? Do we just ignore his rules?

Once you get a job in your profession, are you allowed to go and do whatever you want?

It is not a question of keeping them perfectly, because that has already been answered by scripture, no one is righteous. We know where our righteousness comes from. But that does not and should stop us from obedience to the best of our ability, and prayerfully seeking to do His Will via His Holy Spirit.
