I learned some cooking from my mother and some from reading cook books and experimenting in the kitchen.

I learned from my mother, my step mother, my grandmother, my mother-in-law AND my step father (who is maybe better than all of the women). Lotsa chefs in my life.

I learned even more when on my own.

(sorry, there was just no simple answer to that one for me).

I have had 4 cups of coffee, 2 more than my usual. But it is just SOOOOOOOOO good.

Have you had any fattening Holiday leftovers to eat today?

The only leftovers in my fridge are chili and beans.

Do you shop for groceries weekly?

And sometimes more. 5 people and a dog eat a lot.

Are you picky about your produce?

We are down to 6 people, a dog, 3 cats, a bird, 3 fish. We are picky about all other food, so produce is the least of my worries.

Do you buy organic?

we have limitted access to it here, but I am buying almost all of my milk organically (finally! only available about a year ago), and can sometimes get organic beef (which is good, cuz I love steak)

Would you eat fresh game (venison, pheasant, grouse, goose, ect.)?

Do you know how to cook vegetarian?

I do that too, but for a different reason. I hate fish, and I am Catholic, so guess what I cook on Fridays durring lent (FYI - no meat except fish allowed on Fridays)? I make awesome meatless Chili and butternut squash lasagna, as well as a few variations of stir-fry, fritattas and egg bakes.

That would depend on what clauses you have added and paid for. In my case it might if I was to bring my daughter's flute with me and damage the flute.
