Tell him that Christ said in the event that happens, you " dust off your sandals " and move on

Let him know that what he tells you is nothing new
I thought that verse refers to a town that the apostles would enter that would not hear of the gospel. I don't see how that really relates to this situation.

Where in Scripture did Christ ever tell an unbeliever, someone who was not a disciple of Jesus, that ?
Oh no it's an unbeliever! Well in the eyes of the Pharisees and Sadducees Jesus was an unbeliever.

Actually most of everyone who believed in Yahweh contested Jesus.

Not true at all.
Everyone who believed in Yahweh and trusted and relied on Yahweh (had faith in Him)
accepted and believed in Y'SHUA HAMASHIACH.

Of course it was an unbeliever (you admitted that ),

that's why I asked....

The Pharisees and Saducees who rejected Jesus, He called them directly to their faces sons of the devil,
and
that's not just what they were then,
that's what they are today, if they still reject Him ...

So you used to be a Christian but decided to turn your back on our Lord and Savior, and now you're Christian forum upset that you aren't successful in encouraging other people to follow your example?

John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'"
Am I here proselytizing a specific belief system, am I asking people to join my group and pay me money, am I asking anyone to believe in me?

No, I'll leave that to the religious folk.

I'm just a guy with ideas.

Yeah, the sick, the poor, the blind and deaf.

But not those who thought they were well, which is most.

Doesn't matter if they are sick or well, poor or rich, blind or deaf,
if they rejected Jesus as Messiah, they are sons of disobedience - subjects of the devil, not of YHWH.

Jesus, Messiah, Son of YHWH,
said clearly and with perfect truth,

"whoever is not with Me, is against Me"

there is no other choice.
You can be with Jesus, without the Christian hypocrisy.

But your right I am not with Jesus, therefore I must be with the devil then.

Counter-biblical ideas that you're upset are not being entertained by Christians.

1 Timothy 4:7 "Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly."

This is the goal of everyone seeking truth, life, forgiveness, wholeness, salvation, from YHWH.

Those without Jesus, as written, there is no hope.
(unless they too repent, they shall perish)

make most of them reject what I say
because Jesus says to reject everything not in line with TORAH/ YHWH'S WORD overall/ not in harmony with all of YHWH'S PLAN, PURPOSE and SALVATION IN JESUS.

As noted, everything/ everyone is either for Jesus or against Him, (thus Jesus or the devil),

there is no inbetween...

No you don't quite understand, I'm not selling anything. I'm talking about being rejected by most Christians for who I am, not for what I believe.

Edit: I don't hold on to my beliefs as some grand truth, so I don't care if they change from one day to the next.

People can be closed minded or open minded. People can be Christians, Atheist, Agnostic.

I do want to say, though, that I cringe when anyone has been hurt or mistreated by the Body of Christ and those of us who consider themselves Christian don't recognize and acknowledge how much this grieves the Spirit of God.

I'm so sorry you have had that experience. I can relate all too well the cannibalistic behavior Christians can take part in.

I don't get why it is so hard to love one another within the Body of Christ. I'm on the outside fringe looking in, although, it hasn't always been this way. I have found genuine Christians along the way to fellowship with and it wasn't easy because most of them aren't involved with the petty and dare I say, closed mindedness of many Christians.

After 35 years of bumps, curves and detours in my path, I can say with confidence that the Spirit of God is real and moving in my life even though my thoughts and beliefs may not always line up with others in the Body of Christ, I see it as a journey and process that we are all on.

Again, I'm sorry for your experience and urge to seek out others who understand God's love. Don't give up, they are out there just may not be in the obvious places.

Yes the spirit of God is real to me too.

This much I know.

But to specifically brand this spirit, I am unsuccessful in doing so.

My clinician (Counsellor) Tells me that I am wasting my time talking to close minded people such as Christians. He thinks they are like this because of their beliefs, which make most of them reject what I say in order to protect such beliefs.

"You can't change their minds Chris"

He said

"If someone one is close minded, why would you waste your mental breath?"

He adds

I said, yeah you just might be right.

Depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If you talking with them trying to understand their beliefs then it may not be a waste of time. If you are trying to get them to accept what you're saying over what God says, then yes it is a waste of time. The Christians that I know have a saying: God said it, that settles it. We are rather close-minded about that. Then again if your mind is too open, your brain may end up falling out. Something to consider.
