chris, is the unwillingness of Christians to accept your religious ideas the problem, or is it that you feel unappreciated in general?
I just don't get why most Christians I meet are nothing like the Jesus in the scripture, I mean if those Christians really believe in what Jesus says then why not follow it to the letter. Is it a problem with belief, that one can not know enough to act on what they only believe? I also don't get why these Christians have dumped on me so badly, I can give you so many examples and experiences of being treated un-Christ like by these Christians.

But anyway, yes most don't ever accept my spiritual ideas. Most don't ever appreciate me as a person with value.

Close minded to learning about life, because they have the truth.
A lot of people from all different religions and all different walks of life feel this way/ think this way/ are taught this way,
and there's likely not much hope for them, unless they are one with Jesus as He Says in His Word.

Keep seeking. Like pure gold, worth more, but rare.

No worries. It is worse if they speak well of you.
As Jesus says "Woe to you (judged/ condemned most likeliy) when all men speak well of you" ...

After turning to YHWH(God) for YHWH'S(God's) Way of thinking, people [must] let go of their own (former) spiritual ideas as worth less than potato peels on the trash pile. (death dealing, destitute, wrong and sinful)

Then, God Willing, they may learn the Truth from Him.

I said I spend a lot of time talking to Christians, because I used to be a Christian.
Who said you were a Christian?
If a man is born again he is a new creature. Sounds like you missed a step. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than sleeping in the garage makes you a Buick.
Maybe the one you're trying to convince is yourself.
If I met you in person you could never convince me that you don't exist. If I've had a personal relationship with God, you'll never convince me He doesn't exist. That isn't me being closed minded, that's you being wrong. The truth does not always lie part-way between two viewpoints. If I tell you Louisville is in Kentucky and you tell me it's in Texas one of us is quite simply wrong. If you're wrong, you're not going to convince me you're right

Do you really expect any of us to jeopardize our eternal souls just to give you the warm fuzzies? You stated earlier that you are disappointed that Christians you meet aren't like Christ, but then you complain that they aren't wishy-washy in their spiritual beliefs. Well, which is it? Because Jesus wasn't exactly open to false teachings either.

And what did you say your goal was when talking to these Christians?
Well when I was a Christian my goal was to have fellowship, but now my goal is to (I have no idea, I'm kinda making it up as I go along)

I should become invisible like God, maybe then Christians might appreciate me.

So you used to be a Christian but decided to turn your back on our Lord and Savior, and now you're Christian forum upset that you aren't successful in encouraging other people to follow your example?

John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'"

What is the truth exactly?
Notice a great number of visitors, readers, posters, members, good and bad, right and wrong, evil and good,

all want to know.

And YHWH keeps it a secret from most all the world and thus most all here.
Kings and Princes and Prophets have all been eager to know the truth ....
to see what the few ekklesia today see....

High government officials cannot know.
High religious officials cannot know.
High educated scholars cannot know.
Rich people cannot know.
Greedy people cannot know.
Poor people cannot know.
unless...
unless..
(because for man it is impossible to know...)
.....
Seems to be a dilemma,
indeed it really is a dilemma....
....
..
.
yes indeed,

quite a dilemma......

My clinician (Counsellor) Tells me that I am wasting my time talking to close minded people such as Christians. He thinks they are like this because of their beliefs, which make most of them reject what I say in order to protect such beliefs.

"You can't change their minds Chris"

He said

"If someone one is close minded, why would you waste your mental breath?"

He adds

I said, yeah you just might be right.

Tell him that Christ said in the event that happens, you " dust off your sandals " and move on

Let him know that what he tells you is nothing new
