CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It is a youth Conference in Edmonton that is held yearly and it gives us an oppourtunity to see bands that wouldnt normally come to Canada (like last year the Newsboys and RSJ were there) and it has alot of basic conference stuff (different speakers and such)

YC is awsome fun, my buddys dad (mike love) has been running it for like close to eleven years...he lives right close to me and I was invited to his house for a party before I was a christian later at YC I found out he ran it so that was cool and the following year he made me stand gaurd for united's stuff when they played my church...so YC has a lot of sentamential ties...but all in all its great

Hi, I'm going! It's already on my calendar!!! I'm so excited! I love YC!! Have you gone the last 2 years??? I'm so excited for Mike Pilavachi to be back, he's an amazing speaker! God does such amazing things at YC! I'm glad to hear such excitement about it! Yay, I hope maybe I could see some people from here there! Have an awesome day! God bless!

Ya, YC '04 was amazing! The Newsboys concert was awesome! I always love the worship by United too! I loved that they did that one day of old school worship with... fiddlesticks, I can't remember the groups name, but it was awesome! God bless!
