So, what cool games did you pull in this Christmas seaon?

I got a Game Cube with Mario Sunshine and Metroid Prime.  I also got Metal Gear Solid 2 for my Xbox and Metroid Fusion for my GameBoy Advance.

I've only managed to play Metroid Prime so far.  That game is just amazing!  What a blast!

I haven't got a GC yet, but I'll get one when the GBA adapter is available.

Not much for games; still playing HOMM4.

I know a lot of people that are crazy about CS.  I can't say I care for it much myself.

You like the Sims, huh?  A good friend of mine is working on the PS2 version of the Sims.

I got the expansion for Dark Age of Camelot as an early Christmas present. I've been thouroughly enjoying it.

And I agree Starscream. Metroid Prime is amazing. It's worth the price of a GC just for that title alone. They've totally captured the fun factor of the previous games.

Yeah, I wasn't impressed a couple of years ago when I first heard the game was going to be a FPS.  Also, amoungst of game-devlopers, Retro Studios started to get a bad reputation, having had multiple lay-offs, killing multiple titles they were working on, and being very late in delivering Metroid (it was supposed to be released upon the GC launch).

But man, they did it.

the only thing that i found scary about undying was that theyre planning a sequel for it. the horror of that realization made me cry like a baby

Deus Ex rocked my world! One of the best storylines in platform gaming!

Silent Hill 2 is the only game that has truly had me scared. Creeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy! Cronenberg creepy!

I found System Shock 2 to be the scariest game I have ever played.  Ever.

Plus, it is really, really cool.

The full name is "Clive Barker's Undying" I think.  You've probably heard of him, he's a famous horror writer.

It's a horror FPS.  I didn't care for it much myself, but I know people who like it.

Well I got splinter cell for the xbox which I have to say is the best Spy games that I have ever played other than 007 on the N64.

The only other game I am waiting for is DOOM 3 for the pc it will be the best first person game ever.

I would say that the reformed Resident Evil for the game cube is the scariest game out right now.

Again I have to agree with Starscream. System Shock 2 scared me far more than Undying did. I think Undying tried too hard to scare. SS2 truly creeped me out.

Another game that's really good on scaring the "poopie" out of you is Aliens vs. Predator 2. The Marine scenarios are intense. Pretty much like experiencing the movie. I jumped out of my seat many times playing that one.
