Exactly - as far as Scripture is concerned, you take no stance for anything. People believe whatever they wish, as long as they say it nicely. Whereas conservatives look for more substance in a belief, not simply how nicely it's expressed.

Exactly Hallelujah finally someone has got it in a nutshell.... Therein lies the major difference between the two forums and why membership here precludes that you make a choice ....

Hi tulc,

Your response proves the point that we are trying to make. The interpretations of scripture between liberals and conservative are very different. Arguing who's right or wrong is exactly why we don't want the liberal mindset in CC. The Conservative forum is for people that have a conservative interpretation of scripture as described in our rules.
I don't understand the eagerness of liberals wanting to debate with conservatives in the conservative forum. We welcome everyone for fellowship but do not want debates with non-conservatives.

You should participate anyway. There are going to be blessings for anyone who participates. You might be surprised. And, if you are dead set against being a contestant, I could use another judge if you are interested.

Yep. You would pick a category, dress your character and then a snapshot of you would be taken. Then, that snapshot will be used for the contest. You would be free to change your character after that.

I will help you all I can as far as how to's, but I cannot give you any recommendations on outfits, that kind of thing. As a judge that would hardly be fair.

I think you are going to do fine though. Just think of it as fun instead of a competition.
