Hi, it is too hot for me to want to wear pants or crop pants. A week ago I underwent heat exhaustion (even with shorts on) and could not eat or drink for 12 hours, and then the next 12 hours I could not eat. I vomited anything I took in. I was worried that I would have to go to the hospital to get IV fluids. I recovered from it but it makes me super duper careful about walking outside when it's past 80 to 84. Anyway, I want to go to confession but I feel guilty going into the church building (well, this particular one) with shorts on. Last week, I went to a more lenient priest who had no issue with me doing it, but that church was more a "come as you are" church but this one today, is not. Even if it's just confession, should I worry? I wish the other priest were doing confessions today. I'm not the kind to wear provocative clothing, if that's what you're wondering. The shorts are mid-thigh and they do not come up very high when I sit because they're nice and stretchy. I could also go behind the screen but the way this priest sits is unethical IMHO. He doesn't sit behind his screen enough such that it appears as if he can almost see who's coming in. I don't like it. I could wear a dress but that means I'd have to go into a bathroom and change out of it. Nothing I haven't done before, but this is just confession.
