That is great to hearI am starting to feel great effects from this pledge. I am getting better about controlling my often quick temper. Also, I am feeling a lot closer to God and doing more good things with my time. I am not trying to brag, I'm just telling what living this pledge has done in my life. I'm sure that if you stick by the pledge it will have at least that much effect, but probably more.

I'd like your thoughts on somethng, please? If you deal with an issue in a WWJD way, will God often send another one soon after? Similar, if not identical. And if he does that, does it mean He disapproves of the way you dealt with it first time round? Or is He just giving you a chance to reaffirm your new way of reacting?
This isn't to do with the bullying situation, by the way
Also, I love reading how its impacting all your lives. Thank you so much for sharing. It's actually really encouraging

I'm not sure which to say either, it could well be that you are under attack, esp if it is a weak area for you. The devil isn't stupid or nice, he will take cheap shots and hit where our armor is the weakest. I know that personally, weak spots keep getting hit.Hello GreenMunchkin. I'm very torn on how to answer you. I feel it could go either way: from God or you could possibly be under attack. I'm going to check some areas in the bible. In the mean time if it were me wondering I'd ask God and talk to Him about it. I would also pray for discernment.Praying for you.

Huh. But God does allow those attacks, no? Like, I think maybe He protects us from anything He knows would be too much for us, but if it's something He wants us to learn from, He allows it?I'm not sure which to say either, it could well be that you are under attack, esp if it is a weak area for you. I agree that the best course of action is to pray about it, for strength in that area and discernment.
Yes, God does allow it. The devil can do nothing without being allowed to. Yes, I know it's a bit mind bending.Huh. But God does allow those attacks, no? Hehe, nice. Maybe that was suppose to be mentioned. You know woflman it's funny you bring up Job because that's EXACTLY what I was thinking.
GreenMunchkin I'm still very torn between you possibly being tested or God driving a point home beyond a shadow of a doubt.

He will also never give us more than we can handle. It could be a time of testing, or teaching for you.
Look at Job, the devil said, I bet I can get him to curse you God. God allowed Job to be tried and tested, with the condition that the devil couldn't touch his life, because He had faith in Job. Job did not curse God, and in the end was bless even more so than he was before.
Well, as for an update on me... my WWJD strengths will be tested tomorrow! I'll be hanging out with my mother-in-law. We're not the best of friends. I tend to do alot of grinning and bearing, gritting teeth, etc. But I really, really want to change that. I think this is the PERFECT inspiration to quit talking and start walking!
ThanksAlso, wolfman and Cristianna, I think you too are doing a wonderful job at answering these questions. Keep up the good work!
Good questionI just realized that you never told us how that went. So, how'd it go?
That's awesome to hearThanks Eldaah for the compliment. I too agree wolfman is doing great.
Goodness me, I can't believe I didn't post about Saturday. It was GREAT! Really it was. Remember how I said it was time to stop talking and start walking? Well, I really wanted to do that because I know I've been wrong in how I've acted, thought and moved forward with them. And He was there helping me step-by-step. PTL!
