When things are really bad and I feel completely inaffective to change them...I've fantasied about that very scenerio. But I know in my heart...I'm not the type to cut my losses and run. There are people that I love who would be seriously effected if I were to check out of my current life. I wouldn't do that to them.

I'm too much of a softie NOT to talk to them. It's a difficult situation because the human part of me wonders why I would even bother to keep those lines of communication open with that person. However, I also keep in the back of my mind that respect has to be earned.
