Yes. I've had them before with CF members, but nothing ever progressed to the actual meet-up stage because distance was too great.

Then this wasn't a relationship, not even a long distance one. She was just a chat buddy and nothing more. If you haven't met in person, then it was not an actual relationship.

It might be fun to have a pen pal. We'd want to meet in person if there's solid relationship potential, but I'd rather not rush things. I can only envision doing this with another long-term single, or someone who likewise doesn't bounce from relationship to relationship. A woman who looks before she leaps, and doesn't mind taking it slow.

If she has a stable life, and is content to let things develop naturally, I wouldn't rule out trying LDRs again. It would be more like pen pals at the beginning, but I'm not entirely opposed to the idea.

I'm actually not going to argue with you in the sense that I would never declare anything official until a meet-up actually took place.

Hello! :hi::hi::hi::hi::):):):) Would you be willing to have a long distance relationship with someone you want to marry? Why or why not? And would you be willing to relocate to be with them?

I've never had a long distance relationship before. I've heard that they're not always easy.

However, I do honestly believe, that if God wants two people to be together, that they will find a way to make things work.

Most of my life, I have never dated anyone that lives 3 hours or further, one way from me. A total of 6 hours drive time on the road. But, as I've gotten older, and finally found my way back to God, I've realized, that finding that old time, forever type Love, that is God led, faithful, and honest, is so hard now adays, that I'm willing to go long-distance for the right woman of God. I mean, it's not something I'd prefer, but love in general is so hard to find now adays. I mean, with a man and a woman as humans on this Earth, with one another, in a relationship with each other.

True, I'll only consider LDR if at least one of us had enough disposable income to travel halfway across the world a few times a year and not cry about it.

Sadly, I'm not that wealthy, not even remotely!
