Would Jesus deport illegal immigrants?

No, Jesus would not murder. His word is a law unto himself. Jesus followed Roman tax law, no? So you think Jesus was the type to follow some Roman laws and not others besides His teachings?

God is not bound by man's laws, neither by nature nor by choice. And God's laws supersede man's laws. While God might generally respect (i.e., not act against) man's laws, this is not absolute. There are times when it is not only good but morally necessary to disobey man's laws.

So the idea that "God follows man's laws" is not a statement which can be defended in the absolute. This is why it's theologically fraught.

Answer this first: "Did Jesus advise his disciples to do anything outside Roman laws? We know the disciples broke religious laws" from your reading of the Bible.

I am not aware of any place off the top of my head where Jesus told His disciples to break Roman laws. But, I also know that arguing since He did not tell them such therefore they should not do such is a logical fallacy (argument from silence). And, as such, not a position I would adhere to.

So tell me why, instead of answering questions with question.

My questions alluded back to a previous statement of mine in this thread.

How do we know if Jesus would deport illegal immigrants? Scripture does not give us a direct command on the matter. As such, we must reason from biblical principles, textual evidence, and such.

Given what I know from Scripture about Christ's ministry and time on Earth, I think He would be far less concerned with their immigration status and far more concerned with their spiritual status. And I think Christians should follow likewise.

Now that I have directly answered your question. How about answering mine?

Never forget that God is ultimately in control of everything. He sends even people to invade countries. Make sure to try to see how God sees U.S. I'm not promoting illegal immigration, yet I see alot of ungodly things happening in the U.S that would give God a reason. You know what I'm saying? Shoot. I've met quite a few Spirit filled Hispanics, that some would pull a Nationality card on in ignorance. I'd be honored to have some of them as my neighbor, over some of these legal pervs.
