They do not have the Temple or priests nor do they keep any of the laws. Of course they never actually did anyway. They are Jews in name only but as the people of God they are no longer a people.

There is no Ark of the Covenant, no holy place, no alter or shewbread. They have no means by which they can continue as the people of God separate from the rest of the world. Their whole history was in order to bring Christ into the world and now that He is sitting on the throne they are no longer needed.

Again, though Paul speaks about the Gentiles in Rom 2 not having the law, he is addressing directly the Jewish audience. As in 'the Gentiles don't have the written law but you Jews do'. Paul never calls the believing Gentiles Jews. The true circumcision are those who have not only been physically circumcised but also spiritually. Those are the true Jews.

Going to Romans 9, Gentiles are not mentioned until v.24. Again the context is on 'promise' and election, showing the promise of righteousness stands to the Gentiles and not just the Jews according to God's calling.

And in Rom. 2 he is explaining how being a Jew makes no difference to God. You read into the passage your interpretation.

Then we have again...Gal 6:16 I did not include anything. You are adding by saying 'he is adding the whole church to those of whom he spoke in the rest of the sentence.' Paul is not adding anything to anyone, he is simply giving a blessing of peace (shalom) 'to those who walk according to this rule' AND 'to the Israel of God'. He is actually making a distinction.

Simple English solves the problem. The word "and" is a connecting word that connects what is said after to what is said before. In this case Paul is connecting the whole church, those who believe and trust Christ alone, to those who walk after this rule among the Galatians.

You must read into the passage your theology concerning the Jews to come to the conclusion that you do.

I am sorry I quoted you thinking you were another poster with whom I have been debating. But my answer still stand because I have already given several Scriptures to support my interpretations. Read through the last couple of pages in this thread and you will find them.

"No longer needed"? hmm, sounds like the beginning of a Final Solution to me. Are you Aryan too?
Are you not aware that the OT is replete with prophecies yet to be literally fulfilled, including their full return to the land?
Sure they are back in unbelief, as indicated by a future Temple which the antichrist will sit but still Jacob's Trouble is designed to bring them to repentance and as Romans 11 shows the remnant will be grafted in.

Were do I say anything as that? Of course they were a separated people until Christ came. But even then they were a type of the true Israel which is Spiritual Israel made up of all the elect in all ages. They were a special people to God because it was through them that He ordained that Christ come and that He be according to all the prophecies and according to all the law which He fulfilled. When John says that He came unto His own but His own received Him not he was talking about the Jewish people. They were His people by birth and by the Covenant. The law that God gave Moses on Mt. Sinai was for them and all the sacrifices, which pictured the sacrifice of Christ, were theirs alone.

I do not discount the Jews in any way in the Old Testament but understand why they were called to be the people of God in the first place, why it was through them that Christ must come, and why they no longer are a people separate to God as His holy people. Now they are just another false religion.
