Have you ever heard a top 40 hit and wondered how in the world can anyone like that, it is just terrible, and everytime you hear it you want to kick in your radio. I was just curious what some of you thought was the worst top 40 hits ever, The ones that made you mad or want to vomit when you heard them, I am listing 10 of those that had that effect on me, just wanting to know what ones had that affect on you.
1. Don't worry be happy by Bobby Mcferron
2. Rythem Nation by Janet Jackson
3. Acky Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyress
4. Rappers Delight by The SugarHill Gang
5. You are my Lady by Freddie Jackson
6. Rapture by Blondie
7. If you wanna be my Lover by The Spice Girls
8. Can't Touch This by MC Hammer
9. Light up my Life by Debbie Boone
10. Puttin on The Ritz by Taco

I know most of these are pretty old, but so am I, But these probably have that angering affect on me worse than any other top 40 hits.

Last Kiss (remake) by Pearl Jam
I Want it That Way by the Backstreet Boys
Please Remember Me by Tim McGraw

I had to put up with those last two at a former job constantly - supermarket work - so I have a special hatred for them. As for Last Kiss, it was just so bad that I had to give it the top spot.

This is so subjective as it's already been pointed out! Any song typed to this thread will be someone in this world's Top 10 Favorite song ever.

But i'll play along anyway and say - anything ever by 'N Sync or any boy band ever invented.

Terrible, man. Terrible. Have you heard the original? It is MUCH better.

If the original singer could hit a note, I might give you that. However, Pearl Jam's version blows the original out of the water. Sorry.

1. Don't worry be happy by Bobby Mcferron
9. Light up my Life by Debbie Boone

These do annoy me quite I bit.

5. You are my Lady by Freddie Jackson

I don't think I've heard this one.

I don't really pay much attention to the Top 40 anymore, but as for pop culture, most of the mainstream pop or rap music that's been made in the last three years makes me want to bash my head against a wall.
