I understand that, but how do we know this is not a normal fluctuation? Do our records show that it is, and if not, remember, our records go back a very short time.

However, there should be other methods of knowing what happened in the past. I guess I'd just like to hear from the other side before in drew a conclusion.

Awful... not global warming. Well you can search look into fires going back many many years. Some were worse then others.
