I stop Playing WoW earlier this year. I loved it but I stopped playing for 3 reason.

1) It was taking away a lot of quality time with my family.

2) I decided to evaulate my life and rededicate my life to God. I could not see how I could play a game full of such witch craft and demons or what not, but say I was trying to live for God. I tried to contact a few Chrisitan Guilds but it seemed I couldnot speak with them without joining there guild via there website. Hard to join a guild once you've cancelled your account

3) I figured I could save a littlbe money by not paying the subscription fees. ( I had two account (I would play two accounts on two computers at the same time)

I've played WoW pretty intensely for the last year. It's a great game, lots of fun. I play on Alterac Mountains, on the Alliance side. I've had to take month-three month long breaks twice because of certain circumstances, but WoW has always been waiting for me when I return.

This is my 70 hunter, but I am currently at 35 with a warrior that I am going to lvl and probably make my main in the xpac, as I want to tank.

I'm a 70 Night Elf hunter on Argent Dawn, too. Coincidence!
O_O Nice. I wonder if I've ever seen you...

And to snoochface... raids, heroic dungeons... pvp of course, as always... flying mounts. But soon we'll have level 80 to reach so you probably don't have to worry about getting bored for awhile. n_n

Hi snooch!

I've really enjoyed raiding with my guild. I find a great amount of satisfaction in the teamwork and skill required to down the big bosses. There's nothing like getting 25 friends together to execute a fight like clockwork and/or fly by the seat of their pants as they improvise when things go wrong. You need to know your class (and your situation) really well to be able to improvise well.

That's actually one of the reasons I love being a feral druid: I usually play a big role in the improvisation! Usually I just DPS, but if a tank goes down, I can be called on to either battle rez them or to replace them, and I can even be called on to heal/decurse if the situation requires it.

I don't know how people can raid so much. Three nights would be too much for me, once a week is plenty! Sitting for that long is a pain. n_n

Then again I always hated even regular instances for the same reason...

This is how we feel too. My husband and I play primarily with each other and only join up with other people/groups if they happen to be in the area and we're struggling to finish a quest.

In fact, we have skipped most of the instances over the past 20 levels because they were too hard for us to complete just the two of us, especially when we only play for a couple hours at a sitting. We'd end up having to let those quests go gray before we could finish them, at which point.... what's the point, you know? So we just dropped most of them.

So if raiding is primarily what happens when you cap, we'll probably get the exp pack, play to 80, and roll new characters when we're done.

Yeah, I don't like raiding 3 nights per week either, that's why I was only a sub. My guild's regular raid schedule was 3 nights per week, and I would raid 1 or 2.

It seems to be that beyond level 30 or so, the game really is geared towards group play and teamwork. I really enjoy the teamwork aspect of the game, so I guess that's why I like raiding. It also really helps that my guild has a stable core of 30 or so people who have been together for 2-3 years, so the atmosphere is very friendly and familiar, and there is a distinct lack of ridiculous teenagers! If I didn't have such a good guild, I probably would have quit by now, because playing by myself or just with my husband isn't nearly as interesting as in a group. I think the game (beyond level 30) is designed with groups in mind, and that trying to battle it out solo or in pairs isn't very fun.

But that's just me! I'm glad you enjoy playing with your hubby, snooch!

Same thing for me as far as guilds go. If I hadn't found such a great guild with such great people, I might not have even subscribed to WoW in the first place after my free trial. :)

I was a member and officer of my old (original) guild for nearly a year, I left it though recently because people were disappearing and it just didn't feel like home anymore. Was hard to do but... I was online by myself a lot of the time, heh.

It's a big world, who knows?! My characters name is Amardo, and like everyone else I'm just leveling in Northrend right now.

I like the fact that now everything can be done as a 10 man raid since the guild I'm in isn't quite big enough for the 25 mans. But I have been able to see both Illidan and Kael, though we didn't get them down.

Yep, I was kind of the same for awhile... especially since I didn't do ANY Heroics and only did Kara once a week (no other raids), no reason to play much really until now.

71 hunter now. n_n I'm really slow compared to others. I will never know how people reached 80 on like, the second day. o_O

The people who reached 80 in less than 48 hours are the people who already played all the content in Beta, used up 2 vacation days, have hardcore guildmates, didn't sleep the entire time, moved their bar fridge to be within arm's reach of their computer and used adult diapers to avoid going afk.

I'm level 71 now as well, and I'm taking my time and enjoying it! My guild doesn't start raiding again until January, so there's lots of time to hit 80.

Did you know that a European raiding guild cleared Naxx less than 3 days after Lich King was released?! Talk about not having a life.
