How is that different from the failed idea of Communism?

"Workers of the world UNITE!"

"The proletariat must rise up and seize the means of production."

Maybe I'm wrong, but the difference, in practice, is that the people in the company influence the company, not the government.

If you think democracy is good, why is democracy in members of a company bad?

Because governments are not industry, and vice versa.

A democracy is the worst form of government going, and why you are for such a thing wins the irony of the day award. In trues democracies, minorities are marginalized. The 51% rule, and they create laws and regulations which support them.

The US is a representative republic, so it avoids some of the issues with a pure democracy, and it has, "separation of powers" which further helps.

Companies fully in the hands of employees would be a nightmare. They would kill each other.

Not if the majority of the minorities, voted with the 51%.

I don't think worker cooperatives need to be introduced by a violent revolution, and that would be a very significant difference from the failed idea of communism. I'm not an economist so I can't say with any certainty how feasible it would be to have an economy based on worker cooperatives, but it's an interesting idea that should be considered.

Should companies be Worker Cooperatives?

Worker cooperative - Wikipedia

As the power of corporations increases, greater than small nations, should they be democratic?

If the power of nations is dangerous, shouldn't the power of companies be considered dangerous, and thus also in need of democracy?

The workers would have an interest in the company doing well, as well as the employees doing well... which would help the economy.
Are you going to found a company run this way?

I understand the difference between direct and representative democracy. You know 'democracy' doesn't mean 'direct democracy' right?

When I say democracy I mean democracy in general.

My opinion was that there could be a balance of power in a company.

Companies fully in the hands of employees would be a nightmare. They would kill each other.

Evidence? As far as I know moderns Cooperatives work okay.
