Well, after two years without a perminate job, I got hired last Monday. Yaaa

Then Tuesday I went to a job fair and am goingthis tues on another job interview.
It will be more money, but I'll be back to working a temp job. So I just got some
pretty good benifets and if I take the temp job I'll not have the good benifits.
But the 2nd job would have a better chance of a career path.

Nice if life was more straight forward. Well, I'll wait till after I get more info at the
interview on Tuesday.

Update:
Didn't get that temp job.
But I have an interview next Thursday that would be a great job. Would be very good
benifets and pretty good pay.
Generally this year so far has been good. My job doesn't pay enough to cover my costs of living. But a year ago at the bottom of the stock market, I jumped in with all my available cash. Made as much money in stocks as I made working till this last dip.
Praise God, He has meet my needs.

Keep going...don't give up yet.

I know that my regular job is a good one...but it doesn't pay enough to make ends meet either...but I do a lot of other odd jobs that keeps me going as well. (People always seem to need a good electrician who doesn't charge an arm and a leg)

With the flooding that went on....I got a lot of offers for more side work.

I'd consider a side job except for the fact that my regular job (delivery driver) gobbles up most of my time leaving little left over for anything else.

Like most these days, it doesn't pay enough but at least it's something.

Another update:
Job interview went well last Thursday. Their interview style played to my strengths. Praise God.
But they are interviewing quite a few people, so I suspect my skills my not be as good as some they are interviewing. Well, guess I'll find out in 2 - 3 weeks.

Another update on the job situation.

I was told I'll be offered a job driving filling vending machines next week if the boss apporves. That will be 33% pay raise. The other job that I had an interview with over a week ago said they wanted to check out my interviews. So I made it to the next round.. that would be a major pay raise.

So I am going to assume that when you calm down you will quit bouncing off of the ceiling.

Now don't get "job scared". Do the job you know you need to and in the manner you need to complete with good working relationships at work.

AND BTW.... Congratulations. I am happy for you...really happy.

They tell me it takes 3 weeks, which is starting today I think! LOL
