You should check out GZDoom if you like the originals.

GZDoom is actually the source port that I use to run the Doom games on my PC. I think it's definitely a better version because it allows me to play with a controller and that's much easier for me than playing with the keyboard.

I'm probably going to play through Doom again tomorrow, it's been about a month since I last played.

The original was a classic!

I played the very original game in the mid 80's, it was more of a survival/adventure game than a shooter.

Yes, but the version I most remember, and have played is the early 90s shooter.

A step backwards in many ways, even if technically very sophisticated (they had 3D first person games before Wolfenstein , like Midwinter, but the worlds weren't as graphically complex).

In the original game, you could stick up guards, take guards clothes and collect different passes. It was alot more involved.

Who else loves the Wolfenstein games?
My dad and I love this game. My dad liked Wolfenstein: The New Order better, and I liked Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot. To all those who have not played this game, I would recommend to play, the more the game costs less than 20 dollars, so I think anyone can afford this game
