No its not inaccurate. Jesus told us that thieves and moths would destroy our wealth, and for that reason not to store it on earth. I dont know what teacher you are listening to but they are wrong.

Yes, of course it does. We should speak the truth. I'm not sure how hard we should try to convince someone to change their views. We should, instead, proclaim our faith, and let the Holy Spirit do the work of converting. And you'll notice that these long back and forth arguments never persuade anyone of anything. It's a waste of good time.

We should be sharing, not persuading.

SO MANY Christians decide to take a position, then they look around for Bible verses to "prove" their point of view.

Does this represent a humble and teachable spirit ... a person learning ftom the Lord???

It's much more like sports for children. Some people don't want any winners or losers. They want everyone to win and nobody to lose. If you don't agree with that, then you're a loser. Oddly that doesn't explain why they don't believe there can't be any losers.

Amen and within this, they don't care if the verse is out of context or not for all they care about is being seen as right.

That's the problem these days, a teachable Spirit takes the back seat to I am right and you are not.
