Dear dirkmasterson. God is Love, and God Loves us all. Jesus told us in Matthew 22: 35-40: The first and great Commandment is: " Love God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. The second is like it: Love thy neighbour as thyself." Jesus also told us: " On these two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." God wants our love, freely given and NO tags attached. What are we to do? In Matthew 7: 7-10:
we are told: " ask and ye shall receive," there we ask God for Love and Joy, then we thank God and share all Love and Joy with our neighbour: all we know and all we meet, friends and not friends. God sees our loving efforts,
and God will bless us. We keep doing this: asking God for Love and Joy, thanking God and sharing all Love and Joy with our neighbour.
The Bible tells us: " Repent and be Born Again," give up all our selfish wants and wishes, and start loving and caring, be friendly and helpful, to all our neighbours. We will find that we change slowly into the sons and daughters,
which God wants us to become. Jesus our Saviour will help and guide us:
JESUS IS THE WAY. We might stumble and forget at times, but then we ask God to forgive us, and carry on Loving and Caring. Do this dirk, and you will find that God is near you, and will get in touch with you. We are all sinners,
and Jesus died that we might live, " Repent and be Born Again," then follow Jesus all the way, let your woes become thanks and Blessings for God and your neighbour. I say this with love. Greetings from Emmy, your sister in Christ.
