The internet contains a great deal of nonsense that is completely absent of socially-responsible curation. So beware.
Yes. I agree completely. It is very dangerous. As someone who once practiced magick, both lesser and greater, I know it to be real, dangerous, and entirely demonic. Argue if you like but I’d not have spent over 15 years in the LHP of the occult if it wasn’t real. Yes, it’s real and I have dozens of experiences which declared as much to me.
Well said!Bingo. The devil's game is deception, obfuscation, and subterfuge.
Here's an excerpt from the Canon Episcopi,
"It is also not to be omitted that some unconstrained women, perverted by Satan, seduced by illusions and phantasms of demons, believe and openly profess that, in the dead of night, they ride upon certain beasts with the pagan goddess Diana, with a countless horde of women, and in the silence of the dead of the night to fly over vast tracts of country, and to obey her commands as their mistress, and to be summoned to her service on other nights. But it were well if they alone perished in their infidelity and did not draw so many others into the pit of their faithlessness. For an innumberable multitude, deceived by this false opinion, believe this to be true and, so believing, wander from the right faith and relapse into pagan errors when they think that there is any divinity or power except the one God."
That the devil, who is the father of lies, would delude people into believing things and experiencing things that are false wasn't ignored; but what was rejected was the idea that any of this was actually happening, and thus relapsing into Pagan superstition by ascribing divinity and power to anything other than God.

I do not.
You said:I believe how one uses them could potentially be evil, but simply having them does not make one evil.
Why do you keep mentioning that like you’re the only person who has ever seen the show or read the comics?
Again, witches do low magic, magicians or sorceresses do high magic. If we are applying real-life hierarchy to fictional characters, we should at least not be arbitrary.
You said:Granted I’m not the most creative person on earth, but saying words backwards isn’t exactly the height of creative spell casting or the portal to Satanic evil. I’d be more worried about accidentally manifesting a demon whole mispronouncing IKEA furniture names than saying “pots.”
Sarcasm is not becoming or helpful. At the hospital they used an oximeter on my dad, the thing they put on your finger to see how much oxygen is in your blood, like seriously that has got to be witchcraft.
What you just said is basically “chocolate chip cookies are cookies, all cookies are chocolate chip.” Spells are magic, but not all spells are high magic, not all magic is spells, and ones natural abilities may or may not be magic but almost certainly isn’t spells.
Yes, oddly NOT because it works but because it distracts. I don’t want to say it leads us away from God, as God is close. More, it darkens our vision. It opens us to greater and greater distractions. It leads to an unsound mind, and places on us great chains of our own making; it leads into sin and GREAT darkness.Yes. I agree completely. It is very dangerous.

There are children of the wicked one in this world. God The Father Knows who they are. It is unlikely that a witch would attend a True Christian Church without being rejected by God The Father. I once heard a testimony about a certain preacher who was, as I recall, doing a revival. There were some number of witches heckling the preacher as I recall. Anyway, the preacher asked The Good Lord to put them to sleep and to sleep they put. Considering who witchcraft follows knowingly or unknowingly is opposed to The Gospel.Hi Family,
How do you identify those who are practicing witchcraft IN the church?
What do you do once you have identified said witchcraft?
How do you address the person?
What responsibility does the pastor have to the congregation to address the issue?
How do you believe witchcraft can impact the church?
~Natsumi Lam~
It should not be the primary focus but it needs to be a focus. Ignoring the Enemy does not make the Enemy stop killing, stealing and destroying. It does not stop the Enemy from being a roaring lion waiting to devour. Not that the witch is the Enemy per se but rather it is the Enemy that works through them. We need to take authority in Jesus name and address the issue.
I never heard this. Do you have any evidence to back that might indicate where it happened? There are children of the wicked one in this world. God The Father Knows who they are. An idol is nothing.
Those gods don't exist. They are a distraction.
I've seen in the eyes of those that participate in witchcraft, and felt from those involved a great darkness, almost tangible and felt as well as seen.
Why would someone want to practice witchcraft in a church and why do you think that is happening?
Try reading a bunch of Christian articles about the evilness of psychics and prayerfully examine the Scriptures.
Read testimonies of those Christians who used to be psychics.
It will then become obvious.
There are only two kingdoms. God's kingdom and the devil's kingdom. If it is a miracle or super natural working then the Bible should talk about it. If the Bible is silent on the issue, then it is a working of Satan. This is very simple to figure out.
Arrested Development references aside, she does high magic using incantations and ceremonial magic due to a mix natural abilities and academic pursuits in alchemy, and not as a means of practicing self or higher power/spiritual understanding. That makes her a magician, wizard, or sorceress.
If she did low magic or nature-based crafting with an end goal of religious understanding or enlightenment for self or the community, then she’d be a witch.
That's an easy one for me because I don't believe in witchcraft. Someone "practicing witchcraft" is merely a person who believes they are doing something, but are only engaged in a distraction harming only themselves. There may or may not be some indications, i.e., manner of dress, wearing pendants, etc.
Because your statements act like you have not seen the show. Either that or you completely forgot about it. It is obvious she operates by magic and she uses spells. There is character listing on the internet of a whole list of spells that she uses. That is magic. Hello?
This is splitting hairs. It's all magic and or sorcery and is the working of the dark arts and or by the power the enemy! If you believe otherwise, then please give us a biblical example of a supernatural power that is neutral in the Bible as being okay with God.
Your missing the point. ANYTHING to do with sorcery or magic or witchcraft is evil and it is not of God. If you believe otherwise, prove your case with the Bible.
Try reading some testimonies of Christians who were into witchcraft and they will tell you the same thing.
