This is going to sound like a really stupid question....
How does one go about to making a snowman (or to be pc, a snowperson)? Does it involve packing snow together...or rolling snow into giant balls???
I have a friend who's from Canada...when I make my first snow man she wants me to mail a picture of me with it.

You have to have the right kind of snow. Wet snow works, but the dry powdery kind will not pack. Most of the snow in SE WI is the wet kind, lucky for you:). You'll figure it out. Just pack and roll and you'll get it:)

How far is WI from Canada? I sent in all my info for a passport today...not sure I'm going to be using it though:confused:

Very close. As close as it can possibly be. It borders Canada, actually:). Well, OK, you'd have to cross Lake Superior to touch land in WI, but technically, the borders do touch.

I'm not sure what you can do in Oshkosh, but I LOVE the name of it! I could say it all day, it would always put a smile on my face. Everybody say the name with me, OSHKOSH.

And no, I am not making fun of the city or the city of the people of Oshkosh. They are all great people, and everybody I have met from there is quite proud of being from there.

You don't need a passport to get into Canada, only ID and a birth certificate.

soon you will need a passport, and you wont be able to use a birth certificate...or at least, that's what I've heard. It is a lot easier to just have a passport handy and not have to deal with Customs entering all of your information in.

Milwaukee (only one K)

I'm from Madison!!! Born in Minnesota, but I've always been a Wisconsinite (my parents are both from WI)

Hey, we switched places. I've been a Wisconsinite most of my life, graduated from UW-Madison, and now reside in the Twin Cities. I'm hoping to move back to Madtown some day. *rahma daydreams*

I'm sooo stoked...I was able to get U2 tickets when they play at the Bradley Center....WOOHOOO!!!!!!
....It's hard to believe Lake Michigan is a lake and not an ocean!
I spent some time in Panama and I have always said that the Caribbean reminds me of lake Michigan. They both have that greenish look to it with blue mixed in.

Here's a better look at the lake that shows some of that greenish color I was taking about. This is from the same Whitefish Bay park that I was at. Incert a few palm trees and I could easily mistake this for Panama.

I miss Wisconsin so much!

In high school, didn't we always say we couldn't wait to get out of Wisconsin? And now we're out, and we can't wait to get back
