I think it depends on the kind of the fermentation. For example, some cheeses can have like 2% of alcohol, yogurt has 0% etc.
From 0.05% to 2%.Yogurt is not 0% alcohol. It ranges from <0.5 to 2% alcohol and the content increases from date of manufacture. Even the lowest alcohol yogurt in studies, although very low % alcohol is not zero.
The damage to the body was less important than the celebration of marriage, I guess.
Life is trading something for something, almost always.
Alcohol is quite good for disinfection, so it made sense in times with drinking water infected with bacteria and generally dirty. Not so much in today's times.Average life expectancy in the Greco-Roman world could be remarkably short by today's standards. I would be hesistant drawing any kind of prescription based on the fact people in biblical times drank wine, sometimes in amounts today that we would recognize as unhealthy. Sanitation was often poor and communicable diseases and plagues were extremely common, and medicine, such as it was, was expensive and of limited use, so a little wine was the least of their worries.
doesnt wine hurt the bod which is the temple of God? And yet Jesus turned water to wine? why
No, not in moderation.doesnt wine hurt the bod which is the temple of God? And yet Jesus turned water to wine? why
I doubt you live in the same environment, eat the same food, move the same, are of the same age and drink the same wine and have the same miraculous powers as He did, though. If wine was good enough for Christ, it's good enough for me. He also used wine to represent His blood.
You are correct - I've lived more than twice as long as He did, but then I haven't faced the same outright hostility.I doubt you live in the same environment, eat the same food, move the same, are of the same age and drink the same wine and have the same miraculous powers as He did, though.
Well, this is an interesting thought. Maybe He would not age, because aging is an accumulated damage to the body over time. If He kept being totally healthy, He would not age.He still grew older and therefore had the same issues with aging that we do growing from a baby to a 33 year old man or thereabouts.
In the normal scheme of events even God the Son in human form would have died from something sooner or later.
Interesting!Ecclesiastes 10:19 (KJV)
A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things .

It turns out that Jerusalem’s elites enjoyed their wine with a touch of vanilla.
Residue analysis evidence for wine enriched with vanilla consumed in Jerusalem on the eve of the Babylonian destruction in 586 BCE
The article presents results of residue analysis, based on Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS) measurements, conducted on 13 ceramic storage jars unearthed in the Babylonian destruction layer (586 BCE) in Jerusalem. Any amount of alcohol is carcinogenic and damages your brain, your gut and your liver.
Personally, I don't drink wine.
Moderation is ok, excess of anything can be harmful.
Turning water into wine was not about promoting a beverage. It was about saving the groom from the embarrassing, and socially awkward, situation of not having provided for his guests.doesnt wine hurt the bod which is the temple of God? And yet Jesus turned water to wine? why
No, it is not wrong, alcohol is carcinogen, proven beyond any doubt.Wrong - Whiskey thins the blood ...........
If you have an issue with alcohol dont drink it! Simples.....Totally false because you say so? You are also "people" I guess. But without any authority on the issue.
