Will matter be destroyed?

Not all matter, just the earth is destroyed.

God seems to disagree :-

Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

2 Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

2 Peter 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Then the dead are raised, and those found worthy get to live on a new earth without any sea (probably Mars).

the 'sea' is the roaring masses of sinners of this earth left behind by Jesus who are all die then now , only saints allowed in the kingdom come... and after the billions of sinners are resurrected from hell [Rev 20:13] the many are saved, all who sin are swiftly taken away in death again to keep them out of the way whilst the many are saved [Rev 7:9-10] ... not few find the way of Love in this earth and the many are destroyed here, but many of them saved later at judgement day, by works, not grace [Rev 20:13] - Matt 7:13-14

Isaiah 5:30 And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

It's easier to use the scripture perhaps, rather than guess ?

No! Guessing is much easier. Using scripture requires study while guessing needs nothing more than posting whatever random thought comes to a person about the subject.

Its possible to guess and/or use scripture. We guess the majority of scripture because there is little evidence for it. Also, only so little of scripture is practical.

Yeh, but one could spend a lifetime studying scripture and still not understand ... without spirit baptism one will neither understand nor get into the kingdom ....so eventually study must lead one to READ and SEE that one must stop sinning first ... scripture is infinitely easy to understand once God has said what it's about ... many men study all their lives and curiously never read this :-

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

the first step, the basis behind water baptism... and yet few even read and understand, one can get NO further until one takes the first step...

Actually that should show men the difference between religion of sinners and the God of Love...

but few men [Matt 7:14] even see that sin is not Love at all , but OPPOSITE of Love, sin is disobedience to God and Jesus ,both...

and the many are destroyed for that simple easy mistake [Matt 7:13]

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil

1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

1 John 4:16 ...God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

The "sea" which is often referred to as a main subject in the visions from heaven. Why is this? Well, its definitely located before the throne. Also there are four angels holding it apart. The actions and descriptions of such are that it seems this creation is itself "the sea", which turns into the lake of fire, and in the end " there was no more sea", but a new "creation", instead of having 4 foundations, it will have 12.

"Matter can neither be created or destroyed" has been a bit more updated since it's conception. It's important to note, however, that if you took all the anti-matter that has ever been produced, it would amount to a mere grenade. Not really high marks for universal evaporation here lol.

The New Jerusalem incorporates a lot of technology, and is the right height for a space elevator on Mars. (Think of a pyramid anchored by a space elevator).

New Jerusalem is in the kingdom come in the new earth, not in this world , as Jesus says, why do you not believe Jesus on this , it is his kingdom? :-
