Wild hogs

Here is some wild porkers that came out by me yesterday while I was in the woods. My phone is not much but here is what I got before they ran off. Don't ever let people tell you hogs can't swim, Cause here they are :]

No, About 40 yards but at first they were only 20 yards and I couldn't move to get my phone and take a pic. lol The big black one had huge tusk so I wanna get him with my bow soon

No. I mostly deer hunt which starts tomorrow [Doe season ] But I will shoot them because they are considered nuisance animals around here and tear up pastures. I will probably just hang em up or something if I get him.
First thing is deer meat for the freezer which I intend to get tomorrow :]

That is awesome! No hogs here but I would love to see them in the wild.. aside from the tusks lol. Is the meat much different from farm pork? What is their main diet? I always find wild meat to be way better, they eat the good stuff but most farms just feed the pigs corn and grain. not the same at all. Do you hunt hogs by the tag there?

They are leaner and eat acorns and everything else from snakes to worms lol. Yeah they have a different taste to me as their isn't as much grease
