Those who are taken away are taken to destruction and not salvation.
Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn..
They were martyred during the great tribulation.Are you saying these people are taken away (as tares) for destruction ??? :
Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne
Rev 7:14 ...These are they which came out of great tribulation
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more;
Bible says they came out of great tribulation, how could they were martyred ?They were martyred during the great tribulation.
With all these experts views on end times on these forums, dont you think that the devil is getting into peoples minds and tricking them?
We will find it anyway when Jesus appears on the cloud.Which one?

The martyrs are under the Altar, not stood before the Throne and they have to wait until the other martyrs is completed at the end of tribulation.John saw the souls of those who had been in tribulation, but are in heaven at that point in time.
Rev_6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
Its cleary written that the great multitude are the Wheat that escape the TribulationIf you are depending on your ideas about where the altar is in heaven in relation to the throne, you are grasping at straws to defend your doctrine..
Its cleary written that the great multitude are the Wheat that escape the Tribulation
Those under the altar must wait until their fellow martyrs beheaded in the Tribulation.
The Tares are people left behind and face the horrible tribulation by the 7 Seal opening, 7 trumpets and 7 vials.
The people under the altar are those who refuse to worship the beast/antichrist and beheaded.
Do you believe these verses are talking about the Second Advent? If so, why?Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Mat 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Either Jesus is wrong or you are wrong.
Those "taken" are destroyed, just as the flood "took" the wicked away, and as in the parable of the wheat and tares.
The tares are taken first and burned in the fire.

Do you believe these verses are talking about the Second Advent? If so, why?
I believe Matt. 24 is talking about 70 AD.
If this takes place immediately after the tribulation of those days how can it be talking about a Second Advent which is in the future?(Mat 24:29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.)
The church will not be watching the sun and the moon being darkened and the stars/asteroids falling because it happens immediately after the tribulation.If this takes place immediately after the tribulation of those days how can it be talking about a Second Advent which is in the future?
