Summertime probably. I may be able to snag a week and a half, so I'd have time to cruise other states. Ohemgarsh! :swoon:

Wow if you are going to take a trip like that, I think you should come to NC and pick me up, and I'll come with you to meet up with everyone! lol

Well, I'll be up in Virginia and NC at the end of December/Beginning of January.. my buddy has a cabin in the NC mountains we go to every yr.. So maybe we can meet up some random night and hang out (those in the area)

Just let me know when you're getting closer to going on that trip. I'd totally come meet you up! I'm only a couple hours from the mountains anyways.

Disney world is just a people trap operated by a mouse :p

LOL! You know what's sad? You're probably right. My father works for Disney and has been working there for almost 30 years. He hates it. The parks are SOOO dated...I wish Disney would shut down the parks and spend some of their billions to fix them up a bit. For crying out loud...

As for Aquatica, I've never been there before so, I really can't give an opinion on the place. I'm really not into water parks...they kind of gross me out a bit, you know what I'm saying? Lol. I've heard mixed reviews from other people.

I've been to Aquatica.. It's pretty fun, and the cool thing is that it's open from 10am to 10pm... I went at noon and left at 9 pm... I spent at least 2 of those hours on the lazy river lol

you should make a trip down with Kev and a group of CF'ers... I know people with beach houses that we can crash in! I'm serious we'd have a blast! lol

If a group of CF'ers were going, I would def. try to make the trip then. Otherwise, I don't think I'll go there unless I'm already heading to my sister's... It's just such a long drive. Now if I had someone to drive with me, I'd definitely be game! lol
Kev, I'll be your driving buddy if your able to meet me in SC June/July 2010. I'm already planning to visit flnative. I'll be renting a car if I'm not sharing a ride.

About the only reason to come to South Bend anymore is if you like Notre Dame.

Also you can still see the college football hall of fame here but they are moving out soon to Atlanta.

Granger Community Church might be worth a visit, its one of the top ten mega churches. Granger Community Church I visited it once, the kids get sent to classes through chutes.

Don't even joke about this, dude. I've already made it clear that Florida is definitely the agreed-upon CF meet-up spot for at least myself and flnative. And as far as I know, she's still in for Miami..

I get several weeks of vacation, but considering school schedules, summer would be best. Plus, it'd be hotter than all get-out, so...
White Dove, I'm in if its summer 2010. Would love someone to go shotgun with me.

Why come to New York City?

Why not come to New York City?
Some great radio stations in NYC. I have slight favoritism for New Jersey people tho, verses the NYC:) A room with full of people from both areas is never a dull moment though.

Since I don't feel that one town is my area I'll cover the surrounding areas of Northern Indiana and South West, MIchigan.

Chi-town (2hrs by train)
The dunes (one of the few spots for singing sands)
Outlet Shopping
Casino boat (not my favorite)
Surf Shop and rentals
Granger Community Church (Top 10 mega church)
Notre Dame
Valparaiso University (has an observatory also)
Vickers Theatre (old films)
Steam Engines
Cross country skiing
Beach houses and rentals
Lake Michigan - looks like the ocean
Lake Surfing - I got friends with boards, otherwise wetsuits and boards can be rented at the surf shop

Lake Effect Snow - you can come see me plow it this winter on the highway

That's way too far away for me to make a plan, but if I'm free, I'll be game :)

Indeed! Just don't forget that eight-hour layover between flights here in New York.
Jeff, are you still doing your Greyhound bus trips to hang out with girls you met on the Internet? I should scan that column I wrote about you and post it here.

I live in Seattle. I'm surrounded by Marxists, anti-Americans, "gay-friendly" churches, bums, hippies, prostitutes*, and left-wing students who think they know everything. The weather sucks, there are too many one-way streets / left-only turns, and the traffic is a nightmare. In conclusion, I cannot for the life of me think of one good reason to come to Seattle.

Let me tell you a little parable. There was a man sitting outside a city gate. He was approached by a traveler who asked him, "Sir, what kind of people are in this city?"

"What kind of people were in the city you came from?" the man asked.

"They were rude, mean-spirited and vulgar," the traveler said.

"Well, those are the type of people you'll find here," the man said.

Soon after, another traveler approached the man.

"Excuse me, sir," he said. "What type of people are in this city?"

"Well, what kind of people were in the city you came from?" the man asked.

"Well, they were friendly, down-to-earth folks with good morals and values."

"Those are the types of people you'll find here," the man replied.
