This perspective makes no sense to me, for a number of reasons.

First, you don't need to melt all of Greenland and Antarctica to have significant sea level rise. If all of Greenland melted, that would be about a 7m sea level rise. But we don't need anywhere near that to have problems: a sea level rise of 1m would be quite severe. And while it is likely to take quite a while to melt all of Greenland, enough can easily melt within our lifetimes to cause serious problems.

Secondly, land ice melt is only a fraction of sea level rise. Currently the largest contribution to sea level rise is thermal expansion.

Finally, do you even care about future generations? Does it matter at all what kind of Earth you are leaving to your children?

Funny I don't recall rising water being the big problem in the end of man's days on earth in the bible...far from it!

Why would anyone look to your prophesies? How would we know what the future holds? There are things that could affect the outcomes that you have no clue about. Hope you don't quit your day job for this crystal ball stuff.

There is no hard science outside of this present state. All so called science that claims to deal in anything outside this state demands to be dismissed.

There are many clear and detailed signs that will mark the end time. Not one that has our ankles getting wet, that I recall, however. That means the prophesy of the rising scary water is in the laughable laps of the evo/eco prophets of same state doom!

Some people have this death wish for our planet simply because they think the sooner the earth is destroyed the sooner they will go to heaven (rapture)! They could of course do all of us a favour and take some kool aid!

It is not natural disaster that is going to take people to heaven sooner. IT is Science and acts of war. Although the arguement has been made that some christians seem to be bigger war mongals than non christians. Perhaps that is what you mean.

Yes. I know they say that. I used to think they knew somewhat what they were talking about even! Some also say the silly canopy made us live 1000 years! Go crawl in a cave and see if sunlight that you won't see really makes you live that long!

I don't deny any twirpy changes man's world is going through, or will go through. It is what you try and insist we give the credit to, for any changes that leaves your case flat and flailing.
