Take your time and compare Ezekiel's Temple vision with Rev 21 & 22.
There will be no temple...and BTW...Christ entered the Holy of Holies, it's called heaven. Try Hebrews 9.

[/quote]Where does it show the temple and sanctuary being taken down, and how will that occur?Ezek temple is not built during the new heaven new earth period ... It is built during the millennium ... A period that you deny will take place....After the millennium the temple is taken down ... Because the true city of god will be coming from above... And gods house will be with men... Ezek temple will. Represent the future house of god to come...the temple is not used for atonement ...the holy of holies will be Christ throne room

Here's a couple of hints Doug:Hi eb, I don't think there are any seas in Revelation 21:1. In Ezekiel 47:8, I think those living waters eventually flow into what is now the Dead Sea.
Doug
Here's a couple of hints Doug:
John 4:13, 14
13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again;
14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
John 7:37, 38
37 Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.
38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’”
Try that.
you guys are thinking way to literally
Where does Ezekiel say this temple is to be built??? He's led through a vision, and the temple is already existent in the city of the vision. Try Ezekiel 40:1-7.Ezek temple is not built during the new heaven new earth period ...
Hold to the context of both and you can understand. In each case WHO is providing the water???Some say he is refering to the Holy Spirit other say the word of god or New Testament teachings... Both give eternal life
The problem is...who said anything about the sea? I didn't...Doug did. I spoke of "living water" which flows from the Lord. That's where Doug's already off track...because this is "spiritual water" and the context affirms that. So when Jesus doesn't even mention the Dead Sea or anything else...why is he doing that????still these scriptures does not prove that no water will exist in the new world... Sea will end..so no islands....but rivers will still exist and fountains of water underneath the earth...to drink..the nations of the world and the new generations to come still need food and water... Not sure about the glaciers .... Which now make up for 75% of topsoil fresh water... If there are rivers in the new world more than likely glaciers will still exist...
Where does Ezekiel say this temple is to be built??? He's led through a vision, and the temple is already existent in the city of the vision. Try Ezekiel 40:1-7.

And some can be bothI say the same for y'all ..... You guys are way to symbolic...like you graduated from Kabbala school
I think you've presumed upon the passage. The temple is being built with every believer that is saved. Christ is the cornerstone, the apostles are the foundation, and believers are living stones.he saw a vision of the future....a vision of a city and temple that has not been built ... He then is required by god to give all the demensions so we can already have the plans... Christ builds this city when he returns...but they shall seek to build it beforehand during a false messianic age
Think about it this way...in eternity, we are with God and the Lord Jesus forever...so the "living water" flows forever.Jesus... He did so by sending the Holy Spirit Peter said something about this... But also the word of god is like water...
What would be the difference in a "river of life", and "river's of living water"?I know I was agreeing with him.... There is no more sea in the new earth...but a river of life flows out of the holy city... Yes I believe this is an actual river
Yet and still you miss the point of Revelation 21 and 22...they are the same thing as Ezekiel. Compare the two.But during the millennium ... A river does flow out of ezek city into the Dead Sea and the Dead Sea will have fish and not be salty...it is restored in the millenium...I believe that's what Doug was refering to....the millenium city of ezek...but there is no sea during the new earth period

John certainly tells us what that is! It's right there in Revelation 21:9:Now you presume this one temple is symbolic of the spiritual temple of the church
No. They are the same. Notice "the man with the measuring rod" is leading both in their visions. Notice he carries both to a "high mountain".Ezek temple is literal for a specific time...
the building Christ builds a with Jewish foundations of law and prophets him being chief cornerstone of a building of a house whose house we are... Is a spiritual temple ...
Jesus builds and does diffent things at different times...
He now builds a house ....a temple that will one day reside in heaven ...a wheat harvest to be taken into his barn...a new man of gentile and Jew in Christ ...
He prepares a place in his fathers house for believers ...
He builds a city with a temple when he returns and will rule the nations from that city:
Glad we agree. The water is provided in the Lord Jesus.Out of the belly...it flows rivers of living water....so eternity ?... Yeah I bye that
Good question ...one speaks of eternal life...(out of the belly) clearly symbolism of a work Jesus does within a believer
No. One has to read carefully, or you miss it. Rev 22:1:The river of life is an actual river ....that people will dring and this water gives life...no man lives without water... 3 days without water and people will die... People born into the kingdom still need water...the river of life may have vitamins that our water today does not have... Same as the trees with leaves whose photosynthesis will heal the nations...and not just provide oxygen and fruit
That's because in Ezekiel's vision CHRIST HAD NOT COME. In John's vision, He has. Christ is the temple.I have ....and no ... They are not the same...one comes down from heaven and its called new Jerusalem ... Ezek city is built by Christ during the millenium
One has a temple.... One does not need a temple... One the nations will honor feast and bring offerings to the temple... In the other ... Offering are to god himself for he is the temple
ebedmelech, you are very determined to refute the idea of another Temple. What you fail to realize is that people actually need something physical to worship in. For now, we have churches, etc. but as in ancient times the new Israelites, will once again build a Temple. 2Thess 2:4 says that the man of perdition, [the Anti-Christ] will enthrone himself in Gods Temple. You have to twist scripture to allegorize this and anyway it all fits with what Daniel prophesied and other clear verses, like Zech.6:15, Haggai 2:9.

John certainly tells us what that is! It's right there in Revelation 21:9:
9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
Now...notice who it is...Rev 21:10, 11:
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
11 having the glory of God. Her brilliance was like a very costly stone, as a stone of crystal-clear jasper.
Surely you know who the "bride of Christ" is? So it is a spiritual temple. All you do us let the scriptures speak.
Paul has intimated that in Ephesians 2:21, 22:
21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord,
22 in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.
No. They are the same. Notice "the man with the measuring rod" is leading both in their visions. Notice he carries both to a "high mountain".
Same thing.
No. One has to read carefully, or you miss it. Rev 22:1:
Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb,
God and Jesus ARE THE SOURCE of the water my friend. It's right there.
That's because in Ezekiel's vision CHRIST HAD NOT COME. In John's vision, He has. Christ is the temple.
Are you reading the passage or imposing on it? Ezekiel 40:5:Here is your first mistake...it's a city not a temple...are we a temple or a city?... I mean which is it?
Unfortunately you're still denying scripture because you don't make the correlation to the symbolism which is clearly there. You have a city, what is a city without people?Truth is ... We are citizens of that city and god is the temple..we are not the city itself ..we are citizens...nor are we the temple of that city...god is the temple
No. Jerusalem is the city and the temple happens to be in the city. But even so Revelation 21:22 says there's not temple...so what's your point? The Jewish tabernacle shows it to be a city and the temple within this city...it's symbolic of the new Jerusalem and god being the temple...so 2 things on earth...one is the tabernacle (city) and two is the temple (god living with man) and we shall live within this tabernacle (new Jerusalem )
Are you sure? Try Ezekiel 48:30-35...and realize there's a difference in the unit of measure.Seems that way don't it?....but the demensions are different...one major description is the new Jerusalem is 1500 miles high ... The city in ezek is not...among other differences
Your confusing things here. The river of "the water of life"...now tell me why if it's only water, is it called "the water of life". The fact that it's "the water of life"...should clue you in that this has spiritual application.Bro ...god created the heavens and earth which is now...and he created rain...rain falls naturally from a process when clouds get heavy by collecting water from evaporation .... Now my question to you is ...where is the source from?
Where do you see a temple in New Jerusalem???. It tells you the Lord is the temple in Rev 21:22. You don't have a city without people my friend, so New Jerusalem is occupied with believers. surely you've read Hebrews 11:16:Which is it?...Is christ the temple or the bride or God?
