Are you praying for them, brother?
Thanks for the decent reply and your words are greatly appreciated. The Jewish man who appeared suddenly on my right and demanded I leave did so just when the Jewish man inside was about to allow me to attend. The security Guard was showing no inclination either way but was just standing by until the Jewish man who had suddenly arrive began with his diatribe. Just wanted to clear that up.
I am aware of the persecution against that synagogue and against the Jewish people throughout history but did not care in sharing it with them if need be if God wanted me to do so. That was the attitude that I had when I went to their synagogue. I was also aware of the local persecution that was directed at that synagogue some years ago via hateful graffiti and did no care.
Yes, Pennsylvania is a very racist place to live in. In fact, just moments before arriving at the synagogue that day I had experienced racist discrimination because of my ethnic persuasion. So I was hurting already when the incident happened. Yet I remained calm and uttered not one word of anger against them out of respect for the Synagogue location. I simply was shocked.
Am I praying? Well, I have been in so much emotional distress since it happened that I have been unable to go to God in any kind of prayer. I guess I began to hold him responsible for it. But I will try.
