What is a cloud? Who is in a cloud? You are taking literal what is spiritual.
To be His witness, to be prepared. I don't see everything or know everything, just what He has chosen to show me. Do you not get direct revelation from God? That is quite an admission.
From my point of view social justice can be a bit of a mixed bag. When it discourages hate and encourages love for your enemy then thats good. When it encourages things that God does not want man to do then thats not good. As a christian follow the bible, those who are not christians don't hold them to the same standards leave the judgement to God. All you can do is try to reach out to them and let them know God's message.
Whats is starting to happen is basically what Revelations fortold, so this should not be shocking. Hope that you don't live in the time when someone is not pointing a gun at you and forcing you to worship the devil or renounce your faith.
That is quite an assumption.
You are comparing your personal revelation to a Scriptural revelation from God to man on earth for the purpose of saving His people. Again, for your personal gain or for the benefit of others?
Don't be decieved by the angel of light...
Only God is going to save His people. If I'm obedient and blessed I may be used as His vessel, if I'm not obedient who knows? I realize that any broaching of "the end" or a "looming crisis" is going to get the requisite eye rolling, however I think the easy believism and "God will take care of me because I trusted Him at age 13 and I'm sure He loves me and will never chastise me because 'God is love'" attitude is going to get many many believers into trouble. A Godly shaking. We also know that our "God is a consuming fire", and that He "chastises EVERY son that He receives", anyone feel chastened lately? Corrected? Warned?
Are we just all cozy because we "just got comfortable here"?
God doesn't chasten when no correction is needed.
If you're not being chastened, it could also be that you're already being obedient.
If you're being perpetually chastened, it means you're not being obedient.

The third variation is the most subtle and most dangerous. These groups will explain that the Bible is completely and totally accurate. They will have no other book of scripture and will explain that if anyone brings another scripture, they are false prophets. They will state that the Bible is the Word of God, 100% accurate and should be trusted in every situation. However, to really know what the Bible means, a person must follow that particular group's unique interpretation of the Bible.
More gloom and doom. Seriously, where is your joy?
Regarding your "revelation", you made the comparison to Noah and Joseph. Their's were to save God's chosen people to save who were identified to both Noah and Joseph beforehand. It was also revealed to them what that impending disaster would be (flood, famine) and to tell others about it.
I see none of that from you, or at least that you are willing to admit or share. Therefore, your comparison fails miserably. Sounds like yours is just to save yourself, so I would question the source of that revelation.
So, IAL, if you claim to know the day and the hour, if you're claiming to be the recipient of some special knowledge from God, you'd better HOPE it all comes to pass. Because, you DO know the punishment for a false prophet, right?
Your doom and gloom makes me truly sad for you. What a horrible way to go through life. The fruit of the Spirit includes JOY! Joy at seeing God's creation, Joy at seeing the Lord work, Joy at just being alive...my friend, you need to get you some of that JOY!
I was intrigued by television personality Glenn Beck's advice that Christians "run as fast as you can" from a church that has "social justice" on its website. Beck apparently sees "social justice" as something new, springing from Marxism and not only irrelevant but harmful to Christianity.
Thinking about Becks advice, I asked myself, WWJD, "What Would Jesus Do?" and immediately wondered WWLD, or "What Would Lucifer Do?" Which one, Jesus or Lucifer, would run away from a congregation that has "social justice" on its website? For those of us who want to do good, not evil, what does the Lucifer Effect tell us about Christianity and social justice?

I wouldn't need divine revelation to be able to tell that bad stuff is going to start to happen, the fact that I have only confirms to me that some of the stuff He has shown me is likely to start soon. What I see and feel as far as prompting seems to be indicating this too. I am excited by it, not gloomy and not afraid. Creation is going to get delivered.
