Maybe not in Australia. It is in America.Being topless =/= sexual. That's a major part of the point.

Aren't there any women here who want to argue for female toplessness? So far, it's all men arguing what women should do. I'd like some female opinions on the issue. Then there is no problem not being accepting of female toplessness.
eudaimonia,
Mark
They are free to do so in 47 states, barring local ordinances, which vary. And that's fine. No one is saying they SHOULD go topless, merely that they should be freely able to choose to do so.
So, not actually free to do so, then. They are free to do so in 47 states, barring local ordinances, which vary.

If the local ordnance doesn't allow it, they are not free to do so, are they? They are free to do so in 47 states, barring local ordinances, which vary.
And as was said it doesn't even take a local ordinance. Where none exist police arrest women for disturbing the peace. They are free to do so in 47 states, barring local ordinances, which vary.
Actually there have been a number of women who have posted on this thread. You obviously haven't taken the time to read it.Aren't there any women here who want to argue for female toplessness? So far, it's all men arguing what women should do. I'd like some female opinions on the issue.
Yup,, that's a real problem in the way our society views females.. It's my opinion that its a serious double standard and shallow view of how we perceive things.I've even seen pics on here of topless men but if I put a pic of myself topless I'd be banned.
You are right, posting pornographic content is one of the fastest ways to get banned from this site.Well men who are topless are sexual too but it's legal for them. Why would there be hot topless guys on the A&F bags if it wasn't something sexually attractive? I've even seen pics on here of topless men but if I put a pic of myself topless I'd be banned. Girls my age have even gotten accused of creating child porn cause of pics they've taken of themselves topless. Boys can be topless w/out any issue. Not that I want to be topless tbh but it's a double standard.

This is a Christian website. Christian standards of decency are used. How is a topless photo of a woman considered pornographic? Yet a topless photo of a man is not?
Is this an example of where Christian standards favor men over women? Wouldn't that constitute sexism??This is a Christian website. Christian standards of decency are used.
I do not know of any "Christian standards of decency" that prohibit women from going topless. Proof please. This is a Christian website. Christian standards of decency are used.
Hopefully that rule will change someday. In any event you are off topic. You have yet to provide a single valid reason why women should not be permitted to go topless anyplace that men can go topless. Why?You can start a thread in Member Services Center if you want the rule changed. It's not going to happen, though. This is an Christian forum and we are not going to allow nude content to be posted.
