While some others, it seems as if bitter hatred of the Adventist church, its institutions, its beliefs, is what drives their lives and purpose and engulfs them completely and they just want to tear it down.

We should all talk kind to one another in order to learn or unlearn. Being angry never helps the matter. It saddens me about the Republican Party how they treat President Obama. They claim to be the Christian party but they show do not act like at all. I'm not saying you have to agree with his points of view. But why try to make everyone serve or believe the way you do and if they don't they are the antichrist. Racism and hatred is another questioning his birth that has never been done to any other white president. I got a little under the collar with someone but when I see that I am wrong, I apologize and ask to be forgiven. I also ask for pray because I need it. Well that's my two cents.

Thanks! Personally I have known a whole lot of very sincere and wonderful Christians who are Adventists. There are many things about the denomination that are unique and kinda cool. At it's best the SDA church is a huge extended family of believers.

I like to see what you folks think about certain issues, and like to think I'm sometimes a reality check when I see statements I don't think are true. God bless!

I am considered an enemy to many in Adventism but I love them. Those that hate me tend to bring out the worst in us. We should be able to disagree and be christians..............

Don't play the martyr Crib, you have repeatedly violated forum rules and have gotten called on it. If you think I or any one else on here 'hates you' that speaks volumes to your victimization attitude.... for me to have that kind of emotional feeling towards you, I would need to know you personally. Even then, I wouldn't hate you, I just wouldn't associate with you...

Supposedly we are at 50% for and against same sex marriage. How can we call ourselves a Christian USA when 1/2 of us go totally against what the Bible says? Doesn't it take 2/3 to enforce something?

I am not saying anything about not loving those that choose this life style but the Bible says:

This is my experience as well. And "progressive" basically means they believe almost none of the SDA teachings. It is more a tradition than a religion for them.

I hate to say this but boy are you a nut case. Just acknowledge that you hate the man because he's black and became the President of the United States. Sour grapes and ungrateful losers. You will believe anything if you believe that this man was vetted any different than anyone else. Ask Mitt to show you where he hidden all of his money that he won't paid fair taxes on? I also can see him bullying people who are different because he likes "to fire people," and he don't worry about the "poor. You need prayer a whole lots of it.

Given that I mainly dated minorities when I was younger ( mostly black girls )....
...And ended up getting married to an Asian woman I find your sour grapes analogy foolish.
...I have nothing against anyone because of the color of their skin - I just take issue with character.

But again, I'm used to "professional victims" playing the race card.....
