Well spoken sister in Christ. However, a core point for me is the reunification with our Abba...He has desperately missed our fellowship...since it was cut off so long ago...in a garden...when His creation began falling to decay and dying through sin, like dominoes before His eyes.

This is not to say that those things declared to us, the children of the Most High God, like not getting bitten by scorpions, and not getting sick from plagues, or in fact having the gifts of healing, etc, is not important, they are benefits of being His children, almost peripherally. The delight in seeing our Abba, face to face, while He rejoices over us with singing is my heart's desire...as i journey on....

I largely agree with these sentiments. I get the image of a marathon runner ridiculing a fat kid for not keeping up during a run. Or Gulliver mocking a Liliputian for not being able to lift a person Gulliver's size. Sure, a cessationist doesn't agree with some things that I would consider to be pretty crucial. But who are we to judge them. God willing, He'll reveal things to people in His own time.

Thank you.....I know how you feel. At times I will just break down and cry because I want to be with him completely......I'm home sick....I want to go home.....to be with my Father who loves me more than His own life.

The reason He made us was to create family. All God will ever do in and for you will be for the creation of family. He wants to dwell with you forever, to call you his child, and to walk in harmony and talk with you.

Because He is holy, He cannot do this if we even have one tiny sin. Because in Him is no sin. So He came to earth poured out all his blood and made a way just for me and you and anyone who calls out to Him.

He has a name that only you and Him will know. He can never replace you, and He longs to spend eternity with you.

He is patient and kind and waits for His children to look for Him and made a way for every person in the world who wants to find Him.

Is it any wonder that to turn ones back on such love that outer darkness awaits those who do?

Thank you. I wasn't sure if i was being understood...as i journey on, it reminds me of the character in 'Pilgrim's Progress'....but i would not change it for anything...only ask God to provide the grace....

Yep, but those who need that help, don't want it, because they love their comfort zone more than their freedom!

Not true. Those that cannot do it, invent lies to blame the victim, so their incompetence and charlatanism will not be revealed and they can go on bragging of what they supposedly do.

Put money where bes the mouth, it says. Casting out demons never required signing a consent form in scripture. Paul never asked permission when it came to the oracular slave girl. Jesus Himself did not ask permission when it came to Legion or the demoniac attending temple on Shabbat either.

Put up or shut up, says Moriah. Get 'er done or zip it. No more lame excuses: omnipotence and impotence happen to be mutually exclusive!!!

I will be back...because these issues become crucial for me...something on putting on the full armor of God...and we fight not against flesh and blood but against principalities...rulers in the heavenlies....forces of darkness....and this fits in with becoming a force for His kingdom.....and fearing none but God.....for there is a battle raging..growing in intensity....reminds me of that song by Twila Paris..."The Soldier is a Child"....for we are His children....and we are His warriors.....and we surely are in a battle.....

Only being cast into the outer darkness causes this. Not the other way around.

Our soul cries out, grieves at wrong. Mourns when wrong wins and leaves a trail of wounded, suffering, cast aside, devastated, bleeding souls. It mourns even moreso when innocence is taken, stolen, bought, silenced, as the travesty continues, predatorily seeking more souls to lay waste to. It mourns the injustice done to those who cannot speak for themselves.

That. Alone. Avails. Prevails.
