We know that Jesus died for our sins. That He bore our sickness and that because of Him and what He did, we can have peace in our lives.

Then He gave us authority over the enemy, which we did not have before He died and demons became subjected to us through His name.

How important is it to know how to take that authority and use it?

If you remove that part or distort that message from the body of Christ, have you in essence become the enemy of the cross?

It's not a question of why it's a question of when. The power stuff means nothing when the when is right. It becomes a matter of how great is God love.

That's really the difference, what you have faith for. Authority resides with what GOD has allowed you to operate in, if you don't seek it from HIM, your words are empty against satan and his critters.

Nah mate, it all comes down to how much lover you have in your heart for HIM. No LOVE, no power and authority!

They are the ones who have not crucified themself, yes they are the enemy of the cross, and sad as it is, there are many who don't FEED and TEND HIS Sheep, and they are the enemy of the CROSS.

That we are truly nothing on our own. But all things must happen in His timing and His way.

But this is already the essence of being Spirit filled as we are to not do anything out of our flesh. But what happens to those who call themselves 'christian' but deny the power of God?

Those who want to say "He died for my sins, but refuse the entire message of the cross"?

Those who don't cast out demons, heal the sick, and raise the dead AS COMMANDED and yet dare call themselves by His holy name.

And what do you think will happen to those who stand in the way of His work? Who through their actions deny the meaning and purpose of the cross and persecute those who would carry it forth with their fears and rules and religions?

Those who preach a "middle road" and not the right road. A road of safety and comfort, but not truth.

You cannot preach part of the cross, salvation and leave 'deliverance' in the ditch. To do so is to demean the cross.

I'd like to add something and maybe it was included or i just didn't see it.....

it is this...

that Jesus the Christ died in order to bridge our way back to God, our Abba, once again. It required a sinless, perfect sacrificial Lamb. It required Jesus, God's only begotten Son, and only Him. FOr God, our Abba, knew our lot. That He would be forever separated from us, His creation. He wanted, once again, to gather us to Him, and walk in the cool of a garden, as He did long long ago with His created, and to rejoice over us with singing.

He longs in His Abba heart to see us face to face and remove all barriers.

Amen AF, many prefer the "wide gate", which can only lead to destruction in the end (Matt. 7:13 & Luke 13:4).

This may sound quite rough, but I can do nothing for them, nor am I going to worry about them and their religious arguments.

I can only do what GOD asks obedience from me on. If The Holy Spirit uses those events through me to correct others and their views, then fine, but otherwise it is not my concern, that is GOD's business to perform.

The way I feel is, if Jesus died to give us the authority to cast out demons, heal the sick, and raise the dead and it is disregarded by christians and they only want to preach the salvation, then it is the same thing as to spit upon His wounds. For it was by His stripes that we were healed.

Deliverance is huge. It was how Jesus healed. It is how we are to heal the brethren. I would hope that Christians would take it very seriously and realise that everyone who is Spirit filled is EXPECTED by God to cast out demons and heal the sick. That as you say, "it is our power and our tools".

What kind of army are we if we just lay down and let the devils have their way?

"Father forgive us for being weak kneed and taking away from others that which they desperately need because we are afraid of that which You have given us through the sacrifice of Your only begotten Son. Let us not shame Your name by demeaning what was done by Him in this earth and let everyone who calls himself by Your name pick up his sword and do that which You sent him to do. To CAST OUT DEMONS, HEAL THE SICK, AND RAISE THE DEAD IN YOUR NAME."

As sad as it is, most don't realise that HE also came to heal the broken-hearted, deliver them from evil, set the captives free, heal their sicknesses, cast out demons, and raise the dead.

From the that day on His Cross, HE passed the baton of empowerment to His Disciples who continued on doing those things, and passing on the empowerment to all who followed them, and onto us today, the 21st Century Disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It always intrigues me why 80% of the Body of Christ prefers to sit in a parked car in the gutter with the motor running waiting for our Lord Jesus Christ to return.

There is still so much to do, but today it's all about Salvation and nothing about HIS works and HIS ministry. The enemy keeps on roaring and devouring, and nothing is being done about it. HIS Saints are too busy in their "comfort zone" of complacency.

He said to "preach the Gospel to every creature"; "in My Name cast out demons"; "they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover"; "preach repentance and remission of sins"; "endue with power"; "teaching them to observe ALL THINGS"; and "receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us" (Matt. 28:16-20; Mark 16:14-18; Luke 24:44-49 & Acts 1:6-8).

Where is this being done?

Yep, but those who need that help, don't want it, because they love their comfort zone more than their freedom!

There are many who are doing the work of God in this earth. One person in Arizona has raised over 100 people from the dead.

But remember that when the people didn't believe Jesus, that even He could do no mighty works.

When you see the most miracles in the bible, it is when the 'followed' Jesus.

The same is true today, why? Because you have to be hungry and willing to receive Jesus, who is Himself is Truth.

This is why it is absolutely imperative to the body of Christ that the Truth taught to them by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is called the 'Spirit of Truth' and in 1 John 5:6 it says that the "Spirit is truth."

If we hold to those things that are not true in our lives, and try to cry out to Truth to save us, but not love or choose to seek Truth, how can we find Him and how can we be saved?

I'm so glad you asked. I would love too.....

Jesus died to save us. To save us ....spirit, soul, and body.

Isa. 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

To ignore any aspect of what he did is blasphemous. When He died he destroyed the satanic heirachy. He took the keys of heaven and hell and gave authority to us through his name over demonic spirits that make us sick.

Because of this, those who are saved, those who are in Christ living unto God are now the right or righteous by the blood of Jesus. (Rom. 5:17). The devil has no more right to make us sick. Death has no power over us because we are without sin in Him.

To ignore the deliverance message is to demean the cross. To remove it from the body of Christ is to make a mockery of what He did for us.

To preach partial truths and to let the devils have their way when Jesus defeated them and told us to go and cast the out is wrong.

Jesus died so we don't have too. He was beaten so we don't have to be sick. He gave us authority over death to the point that we have the RIGHT to raise people from the dead. This is why He died. To bring us the Truth........to give us Himself so we can have life and live it more abundantly.
