I'm not convinced it still is detestable to God. That's all part of the Mosaic Law that was a temporary covenant that ended at the Cross and disappeared in 70 AD.

GOOD !!! . Abuse and harassment of those people needed to be stopped. NYC has had those laws for over 10 years .
Emotional abuse is still abuse even if you think you’re saving souls by being abusive. I follow the golden rule . Would I want to be treated like that over something I can’t change ?
