The website rarely if at all mentions Mormonism in fact I think I only know that because of an interview Brett McKay did on another site. He needs Jesus, just like us.
No offense, brother; But believers need to be holy and separate from those who are of the enemy’s kingdom still. I prefer not digging in well of ideas or beliefs that come from those who do not accept the Jesus of the Bible. The difference is that genuine faithful believers are of Christ and Mormons are not. I am not interested in what they have to say. My time on this Earth is too short to listen to them. I have more beneficial things I can do for the Lord. I merely found the picture by doing a Google image search.
You said:I just don't see why in a time when most jobs were physical they would wear a long tunic which needed to be girded up. If you see one of my previous posts also the book of Daniel mentions "hosen" which means trousers essentially.
Revelation 1:13 KJV says,
“And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.”
Side Note: Yes, Exodus 28:42 talk about men wearing breeches, but these were for the priests so that men would not look at their privates when they walked up the stairs of the altar, and it was so that their sweat would not drop down into the most holy place. When the holy duties were done, they took these garments off.
As for the word “hosen” in Daniel 3:21, the meaning can either refer to possibly either pants, or stockings (socks). The meaning is not exactly clear as a hardcore fact. But even if it was referring to pants, the Israelites at this time were in Exile to another country. So the clothes most likely were supplied and or in fashion to that country and not their own.
