You seem to be equating "fear" with believing that some things are wrong and we fight to maintain what we believe to be right.

There is some overlap, I agree. But the tone and the vociferousness of the reaction of some on CF Staff indicates there is something more at work than just disagreement.

I've had some pretty nasty stuff posted about me over there, yet it doesn't worry me at all. Maybe i'm just coined that way ya know?

I have many friends who are "There" many friends "Here" and many friends who have left Both due to "Here" "there" problems

I don't let forum politics cost me friends

One has to be a member in order to lurk on the IIDB/Elsewhere thread.

This I know, have you a point?

You mentioned that you are NOT a member and yet that you lurked there. I was pointing out that you have to be a member there in order to lurk... that's all. That maybe it was an oversight or maybe I misunderstood you.

Oh yeah Was thinking they were eighties

Correction 1970's films except Star Wars

Only the first one was in the '70's ('77, to be exact). The rest were in the '80's.

Very true. I love Star Wars, but I didn't see it until 1981. LOL even though it came out in 1977. Mea Culpa.

IIDB serves the purpose of giving a place for self-identified Christians to use the f-word in a public forum.

Ya know - I am one person who has stood against that there - but I'll let you in on a secret . . . . it's just a word. A word with no power in heaven or in hell. I may be in bad taste - but it is far less damaging a word than some of the ones people use regularly and without fear.

Maybe I am not bein clear... an it does not require membership to lurk the site, yes much of it you can not read, but there is plenty on the 'home page' if you will. I have not read the specific thread mentioned in this thread nor does it change my mind bout anythin either. I have a pretty good idea of what iidb is bout, I don't need to stick my hand in a fire to know wether it'll burn me er not.

I will say that I have no first hand expereince wit that site, other then listenin to all the silliness goin on back an forth round here, an all the lil jabs folks take back an forth at each other here that seem to spawn from there. I think it's a bunch of sissy wuss's wit no back bones to fuss back an forth of stupidity. It's staffs fault! No it's members fault! No it's this er that.... geezz grow up. I mean this merely only to the combative fussin back an forth, as far as fellowship goes in the particular thread I know nuthin bout it.

I further believe that if CF allowed for an out let between users an staff, user an user, conflicts etc, there would be very lil need to run off to another web site to complain bout this one.

I'm runnin off on a tangent an gittin off topic, my apologise Cadan.

Really? Everything I recall seeing about you has been positive, and calling you fair and polite.

I gave up judging people by titles long ago got too confusing

as Lord Traya says
"Jedi? Sith? does it really matter? ofcourse it does to you you need such labels so you can divide good from bad in your mind, Where i am simply what i am.. your friend and that is all that matters"

Always liked that quote

AND what is the motivation for this belief that the thing is wrong? People have stated here that they are against iidb and have NEVER even been there. That to me is evidence of fear.
