I am not going to grant any concession to immorality. I speak in the name of Jesus Christ, The Holy One of God, and I have personally obtained His approval for saying every word I have said in this thread.I agree there are many false Christians out there. Some even pretend to understand the Bible and use their limited knowledge to promote their made up ideas! Thankfully I have not encountered anyone like that yet. You say you don't want to discuss acting but you can't merely right off the foundation of someone contention simply because you don't want to address it. Acting provides the context of the subject matter. The verses you provided say nothing of acting.
Well, that could derail the thread. But, as far as the thread is concerned, it is really a matter of whether it is healthy (right/wrong) for Christians to enjoy depictions of violence and sex.I really don't think as Christians we are going to sit here and condemn action movies because they can be a bit violent.
When Christians subject themselves to the passions of the flesh by consuming immorality, they grieve and quench The Holy Spirit, displacing Him with sin.
This is why such groups as ISIS resent Christians. Even peaceful activists, for example Ghandi, are right to say "I like your Christ but I don't like your Christians: Your Christians are so unlike your Christ".
Matthew 5:28 will never fit you comfortably until you repent. As a practical matter,
ISIS and other religious fanatical groups use their religions to justify their desire to utterly control every aspect of human life they do not personally like. I don't want my fellow Christians to fall into this trap or the trap of making things up that aren't actually in the scripture!
Scripture also states that anyone breaking the law and teaching others to do so, will be called the least in The Kingdom of God. Why?
When Christians teach falsehoods in His name to promote depravity in society, of course a Jihadist will feel right to judge them as infidels. The most scary part is, that according to God's law, they could very well be right! (Matthew 5:20).

We are called to be sanctified, as a bride fit for Christ (Revelation 21:2).
