Why is crossdressing and non-conformity to either gender not accepted in Church?

Ok. That makes more sense. I don't see a lot of the topics around as I only pay attention sporadically. ;)

I still say just be yourself. People will either accept you or they won't. You will never be able to please everyone.

If your church doesn't accept the way you are, and you aren't hurting anyone, then perhaps another church would be more for you. I hope you experience greater luck in society, because to a certain degree, changing to a new society is a lot more difficult.

However, if you appear basically female and dress female, you will probably be accepted by most people as a female if nothing else is said about it.

Well you know, the Bible says God said he can not be found in temples, or buildings built by men. That as he is creator of all things, he is found everywhere and most importantly, within one's self.

So, I would say, don't ever let the sinfull arrogance of men/women preclude you from entering into a church.

Those that stepped forward and gave your father an ultimatum are not of God. And woe unto them come the judgment.

Take that experience, and instead of letting it break you, as they intended by their sinful act,and learn from it and grow stronger in your sense of self by the example they provided in what shame manifests in one so shameful.

Find a church that is open to you, where you feel, when you walk in the door, as if you've come home. Because that building is not where God dwells, it is where people committed to honoring the spirit of God commune and come together as a family of God. Giving praise to that spirit, together.

UU churches, Unitarian Universalist, are wonderful communities that are open hearted and the shining example of God's truth.
God, in the meantime, is what you bring to the church when you walk through the door.

And anyone who bars your entrance, because their bias finds you not to be approved as the image and likeness of the most high that created you, is someone you should take note of and learn from. Becuase if you were less in touch with the God inside you, you'd look just like them. ;)

 God's peace abide your steps, always.
Thanks yeah I have learned a lot that I don't need people to accept me as a religious person to be religious. GOD sees and knows all and that's all that matters that I build a good relationship with GOD maybe it was for the best...

I'm sorry it's just I came to talk about the church and now it's focussed on this. I wouldn't have mentioned it if one of the pp wouldn't have said I was born both. I also saw a post on this pais here that's why I thought was ok to talk about it like maybe you were aware of it because of the previous thread... I kind of am defensive I guess because this thread wasn't about me in that manner...

But I have a question what if I were a girl and people just called me a 'he' but I dressed like a girl I mean how is that against anything?
No I appeared mostly male at birth. The dr changed certain things so I'd be what a typical guy is. When I grew up I just didn't get/accept treatment so I became female through puberty naturally.

can you explain how you became a female naturally, are you saying that you developed breast without any outside medical therapys or drugs?

Yeah I have considered going to another church this time I think it would be ok since I now understand like from their viewpoint

Yeah it's usually family and friends that give it away which I don't mind I'm not trying to trick anyone into believing I'm a guy or a girl

Justagirl,

Am I correct that you said you have Grade 2 PAIS?

This is what I have found on Grade 2 PAIS

"Male genitals but mildly 'under-masculinized', isolated hypospadias"

Is that correct?

Thank you.

yes may I ask you? Were you born with the same body as when you were a newborn?

I developed breasts like a normal female would. That's not socially acceptable for guys. With medical help I could have been male it's just I didn't.

Men don't have hourglass shape figures usually.

Yes, basically. I mean, it's gotten taller and alot fatter ( mean ALOT fatter), but still the same body.

I developed breasts like a normal female would. That's not socially acceptable for guys. With medical help I could have been male it's just I didn't.

I guess it boils down to a couple of issues if you ask me. Do you want a normal sex life eventually with a woman or are you content being celibate? If you are going to stay celibate and just have a life of service for the LORD as a single person, I don't think you should dress like a girl since you aren't one. If you are seeking a "normal" life, I might suggest surgery and therapy to reduce your breasts so that you appear more like the man that you are. Let's face it, breasts don't make you a girl anymore than holding tires makes you a car.

also my puberty wasn't just feminine because I developed breasts. It just wasn't male for many reasons like lack muscle development facial features and my voice still hasn't clicked over to male still. Mainly I do think it's my face that kind of throws me into the female category. Only thing I got was body hair and height. So yea mostly my puberty was female...

justagirl12...

God made you the way he did for a reason. Do I pretend to know what that is? No.
I see nothing wrong with you and consider you another sibling in Christ.
I am sure you are a beautiful person whether you appear male or female or consider yourself either.

You are loved and that is all that matters.

no with medical help I could have been male... You know I'd have to change what GOD gave me either way. Gynecomastia isn't accepted in our society like mine at least. Plus I'd have to have cosmetic surgery for facial features and take hormones to develop the muscles etc and I'd have to pretend I was something I'm not...

so you're a tall baby walking around lmao.... I'm so sorry

Proportionately babies are so not like the adult or even close...

What is dressing like a girl? It's not a sex thing it's a gender thing something you and people like yourself made up. Difference cultures ages regions see it as different things so it's really no such thing as it's whatever I want to believe it is.

And no I've never said I was a girl... But I don't think I'd change what GOD gave me because HIS PLAN is the PLAN... And my sex life with girls really has no place to be mentioned or considered...

Btw female has penises so I guess they're male to you too. CAH. And they can get pregnant.
