Well, that sharp-witted comeback sure put me in MY place.
Interesting, under the banner of being intelligent, cognizant, etc why are you (& your entourage) perfecting your art of procrastinations with me?

"Provide proof / evidence" evolution, etc is correct. Even if I wanted to prove just (1%) one percent of it to be correct, I can't because it's (100%) one-hundred percent fallacies, therefore I truly do understand why it's taking & will continue to take a infinitely long time. :amen:

It will require a greater faith (i.e., greater than any religion upon this planet can provide) to believe in & accept anything that's incorrect & false, than it will require to believe in & accept anything that's correct & true.

The male, which is significantly smaller than the female, has no need for such an adaptation. In lieu of continually seeking the vast abyss for a female, it has evolved into a permanent parasitic mate. When a young, free-swimming male angler encounters a female, he latches onto her with his sharp teeth. Over time, the male physically fuses with the female, connecting to her skin and bloodstream and losing his eyes and all his internal organs except the testes. A female will carry six or more males on her body.
And I thought creationists were weird!

Nice picture & I know precisely at what depth this picture was photographed at (i.e., 800 kilometers, 500 miles).... because I seen the entire (very, very interesting) video. OK, notice how this is what's called copyright infringements, piracy, free advertisement, etc genius.

Did you notice the © & the name Bruce Robinson / Corbis or © 2006 National Geographics Society. All rights reserved, etc?

Notice how I left the attribution in place on the image. Notice how I linked to the original source. Notice how "fair use" laws allow for the quotation of material excerpts, with citiation, in descriptive or editorial works. Notice how the entire article is not quoted, making the quoted section an excerpt.

Zone fails again.

BTW, has anyone confirmed this guy isn't a Poe yet? He's totally off the wall, even for a creationist.

Anyway, Creationists stick to attacking the Big Bang because it is an easier thing to argue against than actual evolution.
Only because most of the evidence requires some understanding of physics, which very few people have. The evidence for the big bang theory remains quite strong, as it provides a large variety of testable predictions that have been verified.

What Zone obviously doesn't understand is that the © notice is a merely an optional formality. In the USA ALL original written and artistic works are automatically copyrighted the moment they are created. The notices on the image only serve as an identifying notation as to WHO holds the copyright, not that IT IS copyrighted. And you're absolutely correct that your use of the image falls under the protection of Fair Use rights.

Go figure

FAR too many superfluous "&/or" "proof/evidence" "validate/substantiate", blah blah blah
Almost as if this guy is trying to be a walking thesaurus.
Which he's doing BADLY.
A Poe? I don't think so. Someone who's desperately trying to sound "intelligent"? Absolutely.

More hot air & zero evidence from the fraudsters, charlatans, (i.e., believers of & in evolution, Darwin, Natural selection,....) etc.
More thesaurus from someone desperately trying to appear to be intelligent.
You know, you could post without the superfluous synonyms.
Your posts would be more to the point.

I already know the law(s) backwards & forwards & (unfortunately) you obviously do not even know that there's no Governmental law(s) that can mandate any companies, creators, authors, individuals, must allow whosoever use of their material, etc wherefore, if National Geographics Society &, or Mr. Bruce Robinson wanted to file (criminal,, punitive, etc) lawsuits against the owner(s) of this Christian Forum the "Fair Use" law(s) can not & will not help them in any court of law(s) because the "Fair Use" law(s) is based on the "Balancing Test" (i.e., the companies, the creators, the authors, the individuals own determinations whether they want to purse legal actions, or not for Copyright violations, Trademark violations, Unauthorized Use of Logo, Infringements, Piracy,... the laundry-list just keeps on going-on) genius.

<post not about angler fish
So one of the interesting things about angler fish is that the "angler-rod" is essentially an adaptation of the dorsal fin. The three first spines of this fin are detached from it an modified into a outgrowths. The first of these has the esca on it. Basically it moves around like food for the prey would. As soon as prey comes near it, this is picked up by the spines, after which the angler-fish automatically snatches it's prey.

Angler fish. Yes, i took an ichthyology course. I have seen some of those in the market also. I believe the fish sold as "poor man's lobster" is a type of angler fish. Personally I think they are too cool to be used as food.

That is what i have to say about angler fish.
Too cool to be used as food? I agree they are very cool, but I'm an omnivore in all respects. If I see something, my first thought is "What does it taste like?"

Washington, keep on topic

<snip post not about angler fish
What truly fascinated me about angler fish were their deap-sea species. However, looking into it the normal marine varieties already are pretty weird. But any way, here is a deep-sea one:

Not again that the "angler-rod" or esca is a modified bone of the dorsal fin. You can see that very well on this photo.

Now, the deep-sea angler also made an appearance in Disney's finding Nemo, but as far as I know this is the only cultural reference to them. Mostly when we talk about deep-sea creatures in culture, we seem to talk about giant squid.

Zone might also like to report a suitable selection from his abusive posts to the mods, and see if they would like to recommend anything to him.

As for angler fish, yes the deep sea ones are far ahead the weirdest.

I am starting to see certain resemblances between them / their habits and one of our posters.

Zone,we'd like to give you the chance to correct yourself on this one.
Five hundred miles (500) seems a bit deep. Did you mean five hundred or five thousand feet?

Your idea of precise is unusual.

While you are at it fix up your last sentence here; ".....piracy, free advertisement, etc genius."

You need a comma after "etc". But don't get us started on your English usage.
