Why does the earth rotate?

For divine if you will - only when man gained both the knowledge of good - that which was given him from the first breath, and the knowledge of evil - that which mankind was tricked into accepting, did we become fully in His image (Genesis 3:22).

Knowledge we were incapable of controlling without Him. Leading to the inevitability of man killing man - and so the gift of eternal life had to be withheld at this time. And no, this evil knowledge is not science - science can only in the end declare the glory of God, if one understands and accepts the data for what it says. It can in the end only confirm what all things came from and of which all things contain and in the end will return.

We just have to get past our own ego's and quit pretending that although we perceive billions of conscious beings all around us daily, that there isn't more than our limited minds can grasp. A consciousness actually, that spans all of space and time.

How about the very well-evidenced helicentric model? Incidentally, it's a much simpler explanation than the Sun constantly changing its paths and somehow being a living ball of hydrogen gas undergoing fusion which, incidentally, would still make it far larger than the Earth due to the minimum size needed for fusion to take place.

Well, the whole world will shake and all the towers fall and every mountain leveled. We know that from elsewhere in the bible. Yet the earth will be ruled by Jesus, so it is not going anywhere.

Isn't it wonderful that we were able to get past the idea of assigning responsibility of things to supernatural causes?

Only if the gifts God gave us, in the form of scientists, were aborted.

So why did God wait until only the last few hundred years to give us the scientists to tell us about these things? Were the people living in the year 1082 not worthy of the idea of germs, or of hygiene?

That's why you need to understand that God gifts us scientists to sudy His creation, and in so doing, make our lives better.

But of course, if the scientists that God gave us say something that you disagree with, suddenly you know better than them...

The hypocrisy and mental gymnastics of theists is truly amazing:

• goddidit
• some science is good
• god gave us scientists who did good science - medicine
• some science is bad
• satan gave us scientists who did bad science - evolution

Good and bad being entirely in the mindset of the theist.

Perhaps saying medicine is good science is overreaching. Some theists believe medicine is evil and won't get their children vaccinated or take them to doctors even when they are seriously ill.

God is unusual. He can hover, as He did in creation week over the waters. He can fly low enough to guide you to a house. The issue is whether He has a usual obit circle. Since both the Christmas star and tge flying wheels of Ezekiel were seen in the same vicinity, itis reasonable to assume He does! Cometo think of it, Jesus went up in the clouds, possibly to that mobile saphire throne of God ship?! Again in the same area. He will fly bwck in there soon also.
